Mark 14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, [this] also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
When Jesus prophesied that the incident of the woman washing His feet with precious incense would be shared along with the Gospel, it was not because He was God, but as a man He had a Word of Knowledge.
Word of Knowledge is when we spiritually connect to the spiritual realm. In the spiritual realm, time and space are not criteria. We can see the future as if it is now, regarding anyone, anywhere. The way one sees it can be in symbolism or like a movie/live show. Sometimes (at the start) it is just words that come to mind.
Having the Gift of Word of Knowledge is a powerful tool in ministry. It is different from the Gift of prophecy. In prophecy, we apply/claim a scripture into that person’s life.
Word of Knowledge comes easily when a person is mostly in worship or in prayer (not just faithlessly rattling words). In the Kingdom of God, quality is held above quantity. Kingdom of God does not need more people but needs the right people.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You are an Awesome God. You are Spirit, and there is no end to Your World, unlike this world we dwell in. Lord, we pray that we understand the power of being connected to Your Kingdom. We pray we seek quality over quantity…
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Mark 14:3-7
3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured [it] on his head.
4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?
5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.
6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
Acts 16:31-33
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.
32 And they spoke to him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
