Different Gods

Acts 10:31-32 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of [one] Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

In India they think Christianity to be a foreign religion. They simply say the God Christians worship is not an Indian God.

The Lord put a Brother into my life. He came from a Hindu background, and at one point he even followed Islam. The one question which opened his eyes and which none could answer other than the Lord Himself was, ‘When there are 330 million (33 crore gods in India, who is managing the world outside?’

Peter was in a mindset that the God of the Jews was not the God of the Heathens / Gentiles. Later, God cleared his mind through a vision and showed him that He is the God of all creation, and no one is unclean (not His).

Also, something that people need to get into themselves is that people are not divided according to race or gender. What divides them is their faith, whom they worship and their walk in the Lord. So Israelites/Jews are not premium citizens, or men greater than women; when they believe in the Lord and are in Christ, then they are all equal.

There is indeed one God and all are His creation, but also true that not all people are part of His plan/His people. It is only when people accept Him as their God and accept His purpose/His Word that they become a part of His plan/His Kingdom.

Let us also be aware that there are many who are His but are not aware of Him; they await us reaching out to them with His message. It is His message/His voice that they come to know Him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. Lord, we pray that we get it into us that there is only one God and You alone are God. You created all things that exist, and You made things different with purpose for us to understand the things of Heaven that are hidden. We pray we do not judge those who do not know You, but save them from being already judged. We pray we seek them that are outside, who are Yours and bring them to know You…

14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice [spake] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, [that] call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
