Savedbyfaith.info is a daily devotion website created with one simple purpose — to help people stay connected with the Word of God and the Spirit of God every single day.
In the days of Moses, even though the Israelites were not perfect, the Lord faithfully provided them with Manna from Heaven each morning — food for their journey through the wilderness.
Just as the Israelites were nourished daily by heavenly bread, the Daily Message you receive here is your spiritual food — nourishment for your journey toward the Promised Land of Heaven.
The word Manna in Hebrew means “What is it?” Likewise, God’s Word invites us to explore, reflect, and apply it to our lives. The Israelites gathered it, ground it, beat it, baked it, and then ate it — and we, too, are called to do the same spiritually:
- Gather it – Receive the Word daily.
- Grind it – Simplify and understand it (these two are done for you in each message).
- Beat it – Reflect and meditate on it.
- Bake it – Apply it to your life.
- Eat it – Live it and be nourished by it (these three you need to do with each message).
Before preparation, Manna tasted like wafers made with honey — pleasant and sweet. After preparation, it tasted like cakes made with fresh olive oil — rich and anointed. Likewise, when you take the Word beyond reading into meditation and application, it becomes living and powerful in your life.
Like physical food must be chewed to nourish the body, the Word must be meditated upon to nourish the spirit. It’s not about how much you read, but how deeply you understand and live it.
Each devotional message focuses on a scripture received after prayer and expounded on to help you begin this “chewing” process, so you can continue receiving full nourishment from God’s Word.
At the end of each message, you’ll find:
- Starting Prayer – A short guide to help you begin your own prayer time. Don’t just recite it — use it as a launch pad to pray in your own words.
- Reference Scriptures – Additional verses to confirm or expand on the day’s message, helping you study further.
About the Founder
Bro. R. DSouza is the founder of Savedbyfaith.info. He lives in Mumbai, India, with his wife and daughter. Professionally, he works in the field of Information Technology (IT), but his greatest calling is to share the love and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Though born into a ‘Christian’ family, he came to truly know the Lord in 2005 after a time of deep personal struggle. Through surrendering his life to Christ, he found purpose, peace, and a renewed mission — to help bring God’s sheep back to Him and build them in Him.
Bro. DSouza believes that Jesus Christ is one, and His sheep are one. He does not support or encourage division among believers. While interpretations may differ, the foundation of faith remains the same: salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As followers of Christ, we are called to study the Word together and allow the Spirit of Truth to lead us into understanding.
