Galatians 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
When we preach the Lord, we need to realise Jesus Christ, the Son, The Son and God, although they are the same, yet they are all different. This may seem confusing, but it is only when we understand this that we will see that whom we preach, He will manifest in us and through us.
A Part of God (God The Son) humbled Himself in the beginning, created all things, and later took the form of man (Jesus Christ) to manifested the image of God (Son of God) so that we, too, with the help of His Spirit, can be restored to this image and thus be part of Him at all stages.
The above, if understood thoroughly, will make a person understand the purpose of God and our purpose in Him.
Who are we following, and who are we preaching?
Jesus, the man, the Teacher or Christ, His mission, or who He is as man (Son of God) or who He is in Spirit (God The Son) or who He will return to, His former glory (God). We need to climb the ladder, know Him more and more, not just in knowledge but by living His Name/Nature.
Let our Gospel not be just knowledge but with the help of His Spirit manifest His power that is beyond flesh and blood so that we draw people to Him.

11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
