James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
We normally concentrate on correcting a person for the sins they have done. We feel very happy when that person feels sorry for that sin and makes their mind to not do it again.
But then the story does not stop there for a period that person may not do that sin but soon comes a time that the person falls again in that area.
There are some vices which are very difficult to overcome for i.e. fornication. I was shown fornication as a lizard that has the ability to regrow parts of its body, the only way to kill it is cutting of the head. In the flesh one cannot overcome it, it needs to be overcome in the spirit. It is only when we let the truth of who we are and what is our purpose become the sword that beheads it, it will keep coming up.
In today’s scripture we see James the brother of Jesus speaks of how ministering someone to overcome their sin nature saves them from a multitude of sins, not only their own but also of those around them, for they become a beacon for others.

Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, are Spirit and Your Kingdom is Spirit. We pray Lord we walk in Spirit and not in the flesh. We pray we do not let the flesh control us but use the sword of Truth to put the flesh to death. We pray we minister others not just to save them but to make them overcomes and champions for others…
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
