Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
People are made to believe that just believing in the Lord Jesus Christ sets them free from the law of sin and death, which is not true.
The term ‘Spirit’ means ‘life’; it does not pertain to just this natural life but includes the life beyond it. It is only when we understand this that we will understand today’s scripture.
When we expound today’s scripture, it simply says we are made free from the law of sin and death when we follow the way of living as seen in Jesus Christ.
Let us not be fooled into thinking we will attain everlasting life simply by believing. Our faith will save us from Hell, but not get us to have eternal life. To have eternal life, we need to act on our faith (put it into action) and do what Christ has asked us to do.
In an army, there is no work-from-home option. So get out of your comfort zones to seek eternal life.

Lord, You are Almighty God. Father Lord, You are Spirit, You are Life, and Life is only in You. The Son came from You; thus, He alone has Life in Himself like You. Lord, we pray we understand it is only in You that we can have eternal life, for through You is the Tree and River of Life with its 12 Fruits. Lord, we pray we know we have life only when we have Your Fruits…
