Just below this recording, we see the recording of Judas, who betrayed Jesus for a few coins of silver. Silver in the Bible symbolizes worldly riches.

History is a record of that which is important, and they include both good and bad. Ironically, more bad is recorded in history than good. The Bible, meaning ‘book’, is the only collection of books that has both good and bad recorded, and they are balanced. It has books like Kings, Chronicles, Judges, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, and Acts, which have a balanced, factual presentation of facts. They do not glorify nor suppress any important fact, but plainly put them as they were. That also means anything and everything that is written is very, very important.

The Bible is an instructions to this life, as said by the Angel in Acts. It does not just say what we need to do but also what we do not need to do. So let us just not blindly follow the Bible, but follow it with understanding.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, are Righteous and Holy God.
