The Bible talks of free will, and in today\u2019s scripture, it speaks of predestination; both of these do not go together, so does the Bible contradict itself? NO.<\/p>\n
This confusion has misled many.<\/p>\n
Just a couple of days back, someone from my relative expired. While she was critical in hospital, I enquired with the Lord, and I received a message by which I knew she was going to expire, but interestingly, the message told me she would be saved for the Word was in her. She, being a Catholic, surprised me, so I spoke to her daughter on this after a few days. She told me she was not rooted in Catholic traditions or idol worship, and she would regularly read the Bible. Moreover, her nature and her behaviour towards others had changed a lot from what I knew her initially.<\/p>\n
God, being God, knows everything yet does not enforce His way on any unwilling soul. He knows who will truly seek Him, yet for every soul He gives the seed\/sends invite to two more. Though 3 souls will accept Him, yet only one will truly seek Him. All three will think they are saved, but only the one who truly seeks Him will be saved. It simply means out three children of God, only one will become a Son of God (mature \u2013 this is not connected to natural gender) and enter Heaven. Children do not inherit; only Sons do. What is more disturbing is that most of those who are saved come more towards the end of the timeline, and the unsaved are more in the start (we are still far from the end). The numbers of Sons are fixed and on Judgment they will be full.<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s scripture does not talk of the masses or those who are called children of God. It speaks of the Elect, who are a very small number (one hundred and forty-four thousand) that have a very important role to play in the salvation of mankind; those who rapture are the Elect present at that time for they are the ones who come with Jesus Christ as His Angels on Judgment Day. They are classified into 12 groups\/tribes by their mission. They are the ones who Paul said would judge Angels.<\/p>\n
Let us not take our salvation for granted, for none are able to know they are the Elect or even those who become Sons, which is the reason Paul says to work our salvation (abide in the Lord\u2019s Will) with fear and trembling.<\/p>\n

\nLord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, created all things and created for a purpose, with a design of things that are not visible. Nothing is by chance. Lord, we pray we do not take You for granted. The things that You have set for us in Heaven are too precious for an unworthy soul. Although we as sinners were unworthy, You forgive us and transform us through our repentance and baptism in You, You make us worthy…<\/p>\n
