John 19: 21, 22 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.<\/p>\n
After arresting Jesus, the 5 days that He was under custody, the Jews did all that they could think of like the Jewish punishment (39 lashes with a standard whip), Roman punishment (100 lashes with whips having 9 to 13 strands and flesh-tearing objects tied to them, lashes delivered by 3 strong persons), placing a crown of thorns on His head, later they landed with public hitting (lynching) and mocking Him.<\/p>\n
The irony that happened to them was that they mocked Him as King of the Jews since He came seated on the back of a young donkey, tugging along an adult donkey, fulfilling prophecy, and Pilate ended up putting an official plate on His crucifix titled \u2018JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS\u2019. And the Jews who deeply desired freedom from the Romans ended up claiming Caesar was their only king!<\/p>\n
Lord Jesus as man is called King of King\/Prince of Princes\/Chief Prince because He was the first true Israel which means Prince having power\/authority in God. The Kings\/Princes He presides over is not the political rulers\/monarchs of a country\/earthly kingdom. When we were make we will made kings of this (natural) creation which means the whole universe, but due to sin\/corruption we lost our kingship and Jesus came to restore our kingships thus is called King of Kings.<\/p>\n
Jews who follow Judaism then hatted Jesus and still do. They consider Him a false Prophet currently in Hell receiving punishment for His wrongdoings. Some Jews who believe in Him foolishly call themselves Messianic Jews, it is like calling oneself Islamic Christians. One is either a Christian or a Jew not both, like one can be either Muslim or Christian not both.<\/p>\n
Like Paul Saul we may have come from various other religions, we carry our testimony but we totally disconnect from other beliefs, practices. We are not called to change our names, Paul Saul did not, as Jew he hated his Roman half (his father was a Roman) thus had used only his Jewish name Saul but later realized both were lost thus returned back to his official Roman name Paul.<\/p>\n
Let us not be ashamed of our past, it is our testimony. Let us proudly testify what we were and how God changed our lives. He is our King and came to make us King again.<\/p>\n

\nLord, You are Almighty God. Lord, a Part of You humbled Yourself in the beginning and made everything that exist. You later became us so that we become You. You became poor so that we may become rich. Lord we pray we understand the plans You have for us and what we are in You…<\/p>\n
