SUMMARY:Near is the time of wrath
DESCRIPTION:Zephaniah 1:14 – The great day [time] of the LORD is near\, it is near\, and hasteth greatly\, even the voice of the day [time] of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. \nThe flood of Noah which was caused due great Tsunamis in almost 2/3rd of the world\, this had also cause the earth to tilt and time to increase from 360 days a year to 365 1/4 days a year (we still follow the 360degree system which existed before the floods). This can also be confirmed by looking at the angle of the high mountain ranges like the Himalayas\, they were previous parallel to the then equator. These floods were caused because man had sinned greatly and to top it the fallen angels (then they had their powers) had created a generation of giants through women (they were 13 to 14 feet tall of which King Og was the last and they were much greater than Goliath who was just 9 feet). At that time too it was a triple disaster compromising of earthquake\, tsunami and colossal rains and this was before the continents separated. Noah was about 3000 years before Christ (BC). \nThe second time God took matters very seriously with whole mankind was after the flood and much before the times of Abraham (Abraham existed about 2000BC) when man had only one language so could communicate well with each other. The continents of the world at this period were separated. And at that time the people had lost their relationship with God like Noah and his sons had and they had made gods for themselves. These people were very able and well connected to each other even though they believe in a multitude of gods. They got together and decided to build a city out of cut stones held together by bitumen (slime) which was like cement. The highlight of the city was a tall tower. Scripture notes them saying ‘a tower\, whose top unto heaven’\, that does not mean the tower was reaching or almost reaching Heaven. The tower whose remains are still there in Iraq was not even a quarter of the heights of the towers we have now. \nWhat they did is make a united temple and in this tower they had put all their gods together in the intention to join all the powers of all their gods against the real God and Creator of the world. It was this high headedness that angered God and God caused confusion between their beliefs and their languages. Till date this confusion exists and even though all people (other than those who worship Yahweh) worship only one god – Satan the Beast and his various heads (images) they still fight against each other thinking they worship different gods. \nTime has come again that sins of man has against accumulated greatly such that God is once again going shake things up but this time they will be concentrated on those who consider themselves great against God. People have once again build towers having various gods in their hearts which are reaching Heaven. Their gods may not be idols (for almost all the gods worshiped today existed during the tower of Babel) they are the modern gods like prosperity\, self-security\, self-righteousness\, being savior to one own self by one’s thinking or doings etc.. \nWe saw and are seeing one such start of these times that God bought down a powerful country like Japan which is void of His knowledge to a state that its PM they need to start again from scratch. \nToday is a super moon a time when the moon is closest to the earth. People are anxious and expecting disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis. The Lord wants to tell them these things are not happening because of the moon or any other reason other than high headedness against the Kingdom of God. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, man is far from You and has harden his heart against You. The sins of man has increased greatly and has instigated your wrath. Lord\, we trust in You and ask your Word says You will see no harm to those who know You and are yours. Lord we pray for those who sit on the fence and those who do not know You but are yours\, we pray for them and their soul that their soul are not lost but come to You and live forever… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nGenesis 7:11-12\n11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life\, in the second month\, the seventeenth day of the month\, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up\, and the windows of heaven were opened.\n12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. \nGenesis 10:25\n25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan. \nGenesis 11:1-9\n1 And the whole earth was of one language\, and of one speech.\n2 And it came to pass\, as they journeyed from the east\, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.\n3 And they said one to another\, Go to\, let us make brick\, and burn them throughly. DESCRIPTION:Jeremiah 3:3\,4 – Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day. My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones. \nThe cry of Jeremiah in the book of Lamentations can be heard by many in these days of calamities. As written in the scripture the Lord works in people in areas which Jeremiah specifies as the Lord is working in him\, and they are flesh\, skin and bones. \nPeople must have seen the way majestic structures created by man coming down at the rumble of the earth and by simple thing like water. Man has woken up to see the demonstration of power in Japan by a simple thing like a sea wave and that too only 3meter high. If one sees aerial views of the places it is shocking to see the devastation caused and whole towns been flattened by water. Houses and cars were taken by this water and were treated as toys\, huge fishing ships 20meters longs 8 meters wide were also tossed from the sea onto the streets in middle of the town. \nThe desires of man to created monuments\, grand structures\, technology etc. to show the world his capabilities\, has been crushed by the Lord. This is the flesh Jeremiah talks of which the Lord is against. \nMan has many desires to prove how great he is and history is proof of it. We too even if simple beings also have desires to make it great in our career\, in society\, our relationships. We always want this ‘I’ and ‘me’ to be given importance. When Jesus broke bread\, He gave it to us to eat and said ‘eat it\, it is my flesh’. The flesh or desires of Jesus are not His own by of the Father and when we eat or make Jesus’ desires as our own then only will be having part in His Body. \nIn this triple disaster that hit the people of Japan there was something that caught my attention. A BBC reporter standing in the docks was reporting about the packed food and drinks in bottles lying on the floor all over the place and although most of the people were without food or water they did not pick them up from the floor for they knew it was not theirs. There was no report of looting and one could see the people had left their houses unlocked and fled for safety did not bother to immediately come back after the earthquake or tsunami. \nThough came to my mind\, if these people are so good then why did God allow such a disaster to happen to them? \nWhat God sees is not our worldly righteousness which is perishable like our body but our spiritual righteousness which lasts like our spirit. All our social goodness even if we give every drop of our blood does not hold value if it does not add to our spiritual righteousness. \nSkin is symbolic to righteousness that covers us. Like God worked on the self-righteousness of Job\, He is working on our worldly righteousness. \nThe other area the Lord is working is our bones\, which represents our character. Like the bones give shape to our body so also our character gives shape to our inner man. The bones of Jesus were not allowed to be broken when He was crucified even though all his body was beaten terribly because His character was perfect. Adam lost his sonship because sin came into him\, but Jesus Who as God the Son came as man remained without blemish\, therefore is yet called Son of God. \nWe too are called to be sons of God. We too are called to overcome the nature of Adam\, the nature to sin in us and be like Jesus. If we have bones like Jesus then they will not be broken. \nTo avoid the Lord taking such serious steps with us let us set things right in us and that all starts with eating the Flesh of Jesus. It is only when we make Jesus’ desire ours then God takes care of all our desires. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You have great plans for us. The precious things of this world are like dust compared to the things of Heaven. You are working in us so that we are able to receive them in abundance. Lord\, we ask You to work in us even if we do not like it. Like David surrendered into your hands when given a choice of punishment so also Lord we surrender ourselves and the people with us into your hands.
