SUMMARY:Punishment is Good
DESCRIPTION:Hosea 4:14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom\, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores\, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people [that] doth not understand shall fall. \nPeople pray:\nI am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ\, and I am saved from Hell. \nI cover myself in the blood of Jesus Christ\, and Satan has no power over me \nOut of the above two statements\, one is right and the other wrong. The first is right and the second is wrong. \nThe blood of Jesus Christ (His sacrifice) was shed to protect us from the wrath of God. The blood is precious and cannot be demeaned to be used against Satan; if we do it\, we are lifting Satan to the level of God\, the very thing he desires. It is important to have right understand for we may be played in the hand of Satan. For Satan we are simply called to rebuke him and he will flee. \nToday’s scripture talks of God not punishing His people. Many may find it good but sadly it is when God sees no hope in changing us that He ignores the wrong we are doing. That does not mean we will go scot-free\, it only means we doomed for the worst on Judgment day. \nLet us understand correction and punishment is good for hope is not lost and there is a possibility for change. So if we are knowing the Lord and are seeing problems in our lives then rejoice on the fact that God has not given up on us. \nIf Satan says God does not love us while we are suffering\, tell him\, he is a liar. It is God’s Fatherly love that desires change in us. So let us not let Him down and bring correction while we can. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are our Father\, for You are our Creator\, Protector and Provider. You love us and do not want our destruction\, thus You punish us when we do not listen. You see hope of change is us. Lord we pray we abide in You that we may not need punishment and if we still err do correct us like You did o David Your son… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHosea 4:17 Ephraim [is] joined to idols: let him alone. \nIsaiah 1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick\, and the whole heart faint. \nHosea 4:1\,5-6\, 9\n1 Hear the word of the LORD\, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land\, because [there is] no truth\, nor mercy\, nor knowledge of God in the land.\n5 Therefore shalt thou fall in the day\, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night\, and I will destroy thy mother.\n6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge\, I will also reject thee\, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God\, I will also forget thy children.\n9 Who [is] wise\, and he shall understand these [things]? prudent\, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD [are] right\, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

SUMMARY:Seek Good Not Evil
DESCRIPTION:Amos 5: 14 Seek good\, and not evil\, that ye may live: and so the LORD\, the God of hosts\, shall be with you\, as ye have spoken. \nThe Lord is telling us that for us to live and for Him to be with us\, we need to seek good and not evil. \nThe verb ‘seek’\, on the surface\, is a casual action\, but here it is in an ‘imperative’ mood\, so it is not a passive suggestion but an active order. If we look at the following scripture\, it speaks of hating evil and loving good. \nHate and love are strong feelings. It is not just a thought but is backed by actions and emotions. Hate is not always negative; what matters is what it is focused on. \nLong back\, the Lord had me preach on this topic at a service\, and even at the service before I started preaching\, I felt that what I had was strong\, and people would not receive it easily\, so I was praying on it. To my surprise\, I saw something crawling on the floor. Initially\, it was coming in my direction; later\, it turned to the Pastor standing next to me. It looked like a leech\, and I started to wonder what it was doing in church. Someone moved it away from the crowd. I realised the Lord was telling me hate is like a leech. It is considered bad because it sucks blood\, which symbolises life\, but when used properly (like in medicine on infected wounds/areas) it can save lives. \nBoth hate and love are strong actions\, and both can build or destroy depending on what they are focused on. The Lord is telling us to have both and discern how we use them\, or what they are focused on. It is only when we hate evil and love good that we will seek good and not evil; then only we will live (a meaningful and eternal life) and the Lord will be with us. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are a Holy and Righteous God. You are Light\, and there is no darkness in You. Lord\, we pray that we understand we need to have both love and hate within us to have You. We are called to love good and hate evil\, and not the other way around. We pray we discern things… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nAmos 5:15 Hate the evil\, and love the good\, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph. \nPsalms 34:12-16\n12 What man [is he that] desireth life\, [and] loveth [many] days\, that he may see good?\n13 Keep thy tongue from evil\, and thy lips from speaking guile.\n14 Depart from evil\, and do good; seek peace\, and pursue it.\n15 The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous\, and his ears [are open] unto their cry.\n16 The face of the LORD [is] against them that do evil\, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

SUMMARY:Men of Men
DESCRIPTION:John 9: 20-21 His parents answered them and said\, We know that this is our son\, and that he was born blind: But by what means he now seeth\, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes\, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself. \nThe parents of the blind man whom Jesus healed were somewhat aware of who had healed him and knew He was called Christ (the Anointed One)\, which the Jewish religious leaders did not accept; stating this could cause the parents to be outcast from their religious community\, so they put their own son under the bus by redirecting the question to him\, stating he is old enough to answer it. \nThere are two things we see from the scripture: for the parents\, the fear of man was greater than the fear of God; secondly\, their so-called love for their own son had limitations\, and as far as it did not affect them\, they were all out for it\, but when it affects them\, they put their hands up. \nThe situation today is the same among Christians: they all love God and claim to abide in the Word of God\, both congregation and leaders. But in actual fact\, they fear man more than God. Even when they know what they are doing is wrong\, they will continue in it out of fear of being reprimanded by their mentors\, leaders or congregation. When the situation is hot\, they will stand for each other only to a limit that it does not affect them too much. It may be people known or even their own\, yet they have boundaries for each. \nMost of the Men of God (including women) are Men of Men. They fear man more than they fear God. They abide by the instructions of man rather than those of God (Word of God). \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You alone are God\, and there is none like You\, it is for this You declared Yourself as I AM WHO I AM. Lord\, we pray we know who You are and thus have fear of You always. We pray we do not dare cross or challenge You. We pray we overcome the fear of man\, who has not given us life nor can take it away\, but fear You\, who has given us life and has the power to take it away… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMatthew 10:26-28\n26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered\, that shall not be revealed; and hid\, that shall not be known.\n27 What I tell you in darkness\, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear\, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.\n28 And fear not them which kill the body\, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. \nIsaiah 8:12-13\n12 Say ye not\, A confederacy\, to all [them to] whom this people shall say\, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear\, nor be afraid.\n13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear\, and [let] him [be] your dread.

SUMMARY:Not Worthy
DESCRIPTION:Luke 7: 6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house\, the centurion sent friends to him\, saying unto him\, Lord\, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: \nNormally\, 2 kinds of people do not hesitate to invite a person: one who has nothing or one who has everything. \nA person having very little will share whatever little they have and is happy they have that little to share\, while a person having everything will want to flaunt what they have so as to make the other person feel blessed to know them. \nIn today’s scripture\, we see a Centurion whose servant was seriously ill unto death had pleaded for help from Jesus through some Jews. They came to Jesus\, asking for His help\, for the Centurion was good to the Jews and had built a synagogue for them. \nWe see Jesus instantly opted to help and went alone to the Centurion’s house. I am sure Jesus did not go because he was a Centurion or because he had built a synagogue. Jesus went because He saw someone who truly loved God\, and this was visible in his love and concern for his servants. \nA Centurion is no ordinary person; in today’s world that person would be no less than a Police Commissioner or Lieutenant General. Such a person was not poor in any way but reasonably rich. Such a person\, knowing that Jesus was coming to his house\, sent his friends to say his house was not worthy to receive Him. \nWhen we apply this situation to our lives\, we shamelessly claim Christ lives in me\, or invite Him into our lives\, even though we are filled with evil\, filth of this world\, or consider our lives rich\, full of religious deeds\, social deeds\, righteous works\, etc. \nDo we think Christ would come to dwell in us?\nChrist will only come if He sees something that relates to Him\, like repentance\, love\, mercy\, faith\, etc. \nLet us look inside ourselves: what of Christ is there within us that we can invite Him\, or be assured He is dwelling within us? \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are God\, and everything that exists is made by You. There is nothing of this world that we can offer other than ourselves\, our circumcised/repentant hearts\, our love\, our worship. Lord\, we pray we always check ourselves and refine ourselves to be worthy t have You as part of our lives… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nLuke 7:2-5\n2 And a certain centurion s servant\, who was dear unto him\, was sick\, and ready to die.\n3 And when he heard of Jesus\, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews\, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.\n4 And when they came to Jesus\, they besought him instantly\, saying\, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:\n5 For he loveth our nation\, and he hath built us a synagogue.

SUMMARY:Exchange for one’s life
DESCRIPTION:Mark 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul {spirit}? \nIn IT\, we have products that state ‘lifetime warranty\,’ and many think that\, while they are alive\, they will get service for it. They do not realise that when the manufacturer states lifetime\, they are referring to the life of the product\, and that is normally 3 to 5 years. \nWhen we buy something\, we do not realise that most of the time we are just renting/leasing it\, and they are for a period. Most electronics or mechanical items have a very short period of a few years\, and after that they are redundant; we may drag their utility for some more years. Even things like property are not forever\, for we ourselves are not forever. We use them for a period and may hand them over to our children; the day someone of our generation does not have children\, the property is lost. \nThe word in today’s scripture translated as soul is the word that means ‘breathe’\, referring to our spirit\, which in turn refers to our life. Through today’s scripture\, the Lord is asking us what we can give in exchange for our own lives. \nFirstly\, our lives are a gift\, and we ourselves do not own them. Secondly\, our lives are not forever; only God has life within Himself\, and we who are His creation have a period of life. Our spirit life is in thousands of years\, but after we were put in the flesh and we sinned\, our natural lives were reduced and made to be no more than 120 years. That means we exit this natural world\, but our spirit till continues to exist. To implement this\, Hell came into existence. Hell is a stronghold/prison where a spirit that does not know God is kept till it completes its spirit life term\, and during this period it suffers all the sins within it. \nThose who sleep in the Lord before Judgment Day will rise and be judged. While we sleep\, the time clock is frozen/it is like cryonics. Those who get to enter Heaven get access to the Tree/River of Life\, which allows renewal of life as and when needed; thus\, like other Heavenly beings can live eternally. Those who do not enter Heaven go to the Lake of Fire\, where they do not suffer their sins but a severe punishment for forsaking the Will of God. \nSo if we look at things on the whole\, all materialistic things or accolades of this world last for a blink of an eye. What lasts are things that are spiritual\, and that too only if we go to Heaven. \nSo when we look at the whole\, we have nothing\, not even our own lives; thus\, what can we give for our own lives but just thanks to God. We live for a purpose wherein we are blessed in Him and spiritually prosper in Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, created us to have life and that too in fullness. Lord\, we pray we understand we were created and exist for a purpose\, and that purpose is only in You. We pray we do not get distracted from the purpose with things that are futile. We pray that although we live in this world\, our eyes are set on You and Your Kingdom… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name. Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMark 8:34-36\n34 And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also\, he said unto them\, Whosoever will come after me\, let him deny himself\, and take up his cross\, and follow me.\n35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel s\, the same shall save it.\n36 For what shall it profit a man\, if he shall gain the whole world\, and lose his own soul? \nGenesis 6:3 And the LORD said\, My spirit shall not always strive with man\, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. \n1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout\, with the voice of the archangel\, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: \n

SUMMARY:Denying Christ
DESCRIPTION:Mark 14:67\, 68 And when she saw Peter warming himself\, she looked upon him\, and said\, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth. But he denied\, saying\, I know not\, neither \nThere is an Indian Evangelist whom I saw grow from the start. A ministry which I was a part of gave him his first break in Mumbai\, and the Lord did just awesome things through him. He is great in his Gifting but his understanding of Scripture is average; yet many young leaders\, seeing the manifestation of his Gifts refer to him as their ‘spiritual father’. He foolishly moved out of India\, not realising the Lord called him for a purpose here. Yesterday I was saddened to see him posting a photo of him referring to an African Preacher (Prosperity Gospel) as his father! The Lord has taken second place in his life. \nPeople do not realise that everyone who keeps saying God is not His. We need to discern everyone and everything they say. There are times like Peter\, who will deny for a period and then return in greater power and anointing. I pray someday my brother will also return to the Lord and stop running after fame\, riches and people. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, created us to be light in the darkness so as to overcome it and not make a deal with darkness. Lord\, we pray we do not seek the things of vanity but seek things of Your Kingdom… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name. Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHebrews 10:26-27\n26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth\, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins\,\n27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation\, which shall devour the adversaries.

SUMMARY:Whoredom and Wine
DESCRIPTION:Hosea 4: 10-11 For they shall eat\, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom\, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD. Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. \nThe world today is a consumer world; we are like huge monsters\, devouring whatever people/media are offering. They tickle our senses\, and we fall in their trap. Our desires become our needs\, and then we cannot do without them. \nToday’s scripture tells us the cause of our behaviour is whoredom and wine. To understand this\, we need to understand why bread and wine are used at the Lord’s Table. \nThe Hebrew word for ‘bread’ comes from the root word ‘conflict’\, and ‘wine’ comes from the root word to possess/inherit. He also said the bread is His flesh\, and the word for ‘flesh’ comes from the root word ‘message’. \nUntil we let His message ignite the conflict within us and we overcome our worldly selves\, we will not be considered as inheritors of the Kingdom of God. Jesus said that unless we die\, we cannot have life. We are called to put our worldly selves/nature to death to be assured of eternal life. \nToday’s scripture speaks of whoredom and wine. The word whoredom/fornication roots from the word to play the harlot. We know a harlot is someone who sells one’s body for monetary reasons. One is mostly pulled into the business for survival\, but later it becomes simply business. \nWhen we live materialistic/carnal lives\, we sell a part of ourselves for what we desire to obtain. Like a harlot\, over time the gilt dies\, and it is just business\, not for survival. \nWhen we are at the Lord’s Table\, it is a spiritual arena\, but today’s scripture talks of a worldly arena; thus\, the ‘wine’ we seek is not to inherit the Kingdom of God but to inherit this world that perishes. Thus we too will perish with it. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Spirit\, and Your Kingdom is Spirit world. Lord\, we pray that although we live in this world\, we seek not this world but seek Your Kingdom and things of Your Kingdom. We pray we live sober lives\, knowing our needs and not letting our desires replace our needs… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMatthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. \nJohn 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. \nJohn 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread\, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh\, which I will give for the life of the world. \nJohn 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them\, Verily\, verily\, I say unto you\, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man\, and drink his blood\, ye have no life in you. \nLuke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper\, saying\, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood\, which is shed for you. \nLuke 14:15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things\, he said unto him\, Blessed [is] he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

SUMMARY:Mentor and Pupil
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you\, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf\, that ye may have somewhat to [answer] them which glory in appearance\, and not in heart. \nPaul is known for his humility\, and if someone understands the letters to the Church of Corinth\, we see that the greatest thing is the transformation of Paul. \nThe congregation of Corinth were pulled up for all the wrongdoings\, but the level of rebuking by Paul to any Church is the most here. They were not only most corrupt but also most candid. They had publicly touched on Paul’s weak spot\, his problem with speech\, for he was a bad orator. They went to the extent of comparing him with his own student Timothy\, who\, being an Evangelist\, was blessed as an orator. \nPaul had prayed to the Lord thrice with regard to his problem\, but the Lord had not hearkened; instead said\, ‘My grace is sufficient’. \nIt I said\, a woman gives birth to a child\, and it is the child who makes the woman a mother. Similarly\, a good teacher makes good students\, and it is the students who make the teacher a better teacher. \nThe Corinthians had a problem\, but Paul’s endurance to change also triggered his own change. The problem comes when both are least concerned with edification. When either one seeks change\, both change. \nOur Churches are suffering not just because of the congregation but also because of the mentors; neither genuinely seeks God. If either one would\, then both would change. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. Lord\, Your Kingdom is not of this world. The world considers You its enemy\, and those who love this world also make themselves an enemy. Lord\, we pray; we seek not this world or worldly things but seek You more than anything else. We pray Your Church wakes up from its slumber\, do what You need to do to wake them up… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\n2 Corinthians 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord\, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. \n2 Corinthians 11:6 But though [I be] rude in speech\, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. \n2 Corinthians 12:6-10\n6 For though I would desire to glory\, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but [now] I forbear\, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me [to be]\, or [that] he heareth of me.\n7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations\, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh\, the messenger of Satan to buffet me\, lest I should be exalted above measure.\n8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice\, that it might depart from me.\n9 And he said unto me\, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities\, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.\n10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities\, in reproaches\, in necessities\, in persecutions\, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak\, then am I strong. \nActs 24:1 And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders\, and [with] a certain orator [named] Tertullus\, who informed the governor against Paul. \n

SUMMARY:Wise are slain
DESCRIPTION:Daniel 2:13 And the decree went forth that the wise [men] should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. \nIf one studies history\, the Tower of Babel triggered world languages\, and the Babylonian era triggered world technology and the birth of modern religions. \nNebuchadnezzar had a craze for mystical things\, and this led him to collect the best minds from various parts of the world. He invaded countries and wiped them not only of their riches but also of their learned ones. \nIndia’s own golden era (Gupta Empire) started with the Maurya Empire (Emperor Ashoka)\, and this was because of its close relationship with the Babylonian Empire. One can see that Emperor Ashoka had official seals that were in Hebrew. Babylon did not change the beliefs of anyone but accepted them all and brought them under its fold. The oldest Sanskrit artefact is of this era and from this region. \nThe scripture says that when Nebuchadnezzar was disappointed with all the learned he had gathered\, for none could interpret his dream\, his ministers insinuated him to slaughter the wise\, and ironically the first on the list were Daniel and his colleagues. They were the ones who truly knew God and were the wisest amongst all that were there. \nIn Churches today\, we see the same happening. Preachers who preach the truth are sidelined/excommunicated silently\, but those who are destroying the masses with junk food are lifted on pedestals. \nTruth causes discomfort\, like the Bread of the Lord’s Table (His message) they ignite a conflict within us. This conflict leads to change\, which the world hates. \nOne will notice that famous Preacher’s audiences remain in the same spiritual state and never grow or go out ministering independently; they will always be in the shadow of that Preacher. The only thing growing is the riches and fame of the Preacher and his core members. The Kingdom of God has little to do here. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, humbled Yourself and became a sacrifice for mankind so that man could be lifted. Lord\, we pray that we who call ourselves Your Disciples follow You; we do not seek our own desires but the edification of others… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nActs 13:41 Behold\, ye despisers\, and wonder\, and perish: for I work a work in your days\, a work which ye shall in no wise believe\, though a man declare it unto you. \nRomans 1:22-25\n22 Professing themselves to be wise\, they became fools\,\n23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man\, and to birds\, and fourfooted beasts\, and creeping things.\n24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts\, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:\n25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie\, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator\, who is blessed for ever. Amen. \n1 Corinthians 1:19-20\n19 For it is written\, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise\, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.\n20 Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

SUMMARY:Overcoming via emotions
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 14:5 And when he would have put him to death\, he feared the multitude\, because they counted him as a prophet. \nA couple of Sundays back\, for some reason I did not attend Sunday Service\, and my niece\, who had come to stay with us\, was attending her service online\, and I sat with her too. Since her Church service was earlier than my Church service\, we attended both preachings. \nA young preacher of her church preached with great charisma and motivation. With his voice modulation and body language\, he captured everyone’s attention and did a great job. He was an evangelist by Calling and this spark was visible. When it came to our church\, the preaching was done by a sister who was a Teacher by Calling\, and she hardly moved from her place. There were no actions nor much voice modulation. We saw both and were discussing the difference. \nIf anyone wanted a boost of faith for a short period\, for\, say\, healing or deliverance\, the Evangelist was the perfect solution. When we look at the Teacher’s preaching\, the understanding did not drive any great emotions but made a change deep within. It changed one’s outlook towards the matter she had taken up. \nIn today’s scripture\, we see Herod\, who wanted to marry his sister-in-law Herodias\, was angry with John the Baptist since John objected to it\, stating it was unlawful. Herod feared an uprising from the people if he did anything to John\, for the people considered John a Prophet. Later on Herod’s birthday\, Herodias’ daughter Salome danced before him\, and this pleased Herod so much that he granted her one wish. She wished for John’s head for the sake of her mother. Herod\, not wanting to go back on his word\, did behead John. \nEmotions\, good or bad\, can drive us to overcome fear; that fear could be good or bad. i.e. we can overcome fear of being harmed\, depression\, unloved\, etc. by emotionally driving our faith through words of encouragement or simply a love expression like a hug\, laying of hands\, etc. We can also overcome the fear of God\, moral fear\, lust\, misplaced love\, greed\, etc.\, like we see happen in today’s case. \nTruth will bring the right perspective to our lives even though it will take time. Being emotionally boosted is good in the short term but can have two extreme results. So let us not always seek the tickling of our senses\, go after Preachers who emotionally drive us\, but seek those who build us gradually and firmly. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Awesome God. You are All-Knowing and All-Seeing. You\, Lord\, do not look for shortcuts but seek long-term\, permanent changes in us. We pray we have patience in all things\, not be emotionally driven\, but to be driven to permanent changes by holding on to the Truth… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMatthew 14:3-11\n3 For Herod had laid hold on John\, and bound him\, and put [him] in prison for Herodias sake\, his brother Philip s wife.\n4 For John said unto him\, It is not lawful for thee to have her.\n5 And when he would have put him to death\, he feared the multitude\, because they counted him as a prophet.\n6 But when Herod s birthday was kept\, the daughter of Herodias danced before them\, and pleased Herod.\n7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.\n8 And she\, being before instructed of her mother\, said\, Give me here John Baptist s head in a charger.\n9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath s sake\, and them which sat with him at meat\, he commanded [it] to be given [her].\n10 And he sent\, and beheaded John in the prison.\n11 And his head was brought in a charger\, and given to the damsel: and she brought [it] to her mother. \n

SUMMARY:Least is greater than he
DESCRIPTION:Luke 7:28 For I say unto you\, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. \nWhen we read the Bible there are some iconic people whom we look up to as gold standards. These include people like Abraham\, Moses\, David\, Solomon\, Elijah etc… \nWhen we introspect their lives deeply we see men of great failures\, Abraham a icon of faith laughed at God’s words\, Moses was punished to disobedience\, David a man according to heart of God\, lost his heart to another married woman\, Solomon praised for his wisdom did the most foolish thing of worshiping idols\, gods and goddesses\, Elijah who did greatest miracles in the OT was rebuked by the Lord (Jesus) Himself in the NT. \nIn today’s scripture we see Jesus speaks of John the Baptist who was Elijah born again as man (it can not be called incarnation since Elijah had not died). As John\, Elijah repented of his arrogance and thus Jesus said that of those born of women (He was excluded as His birth was a arrogate birth) there was none greater. This was another gold standard but then like other gold standards not the ultimate. We all have the possibility of achieving greater or doing more than any person mentioned in the whole Bible. When Jesus Himself said we would do greater things than what He did then can anyone else from the Bible we any higher\, impossible level? \nThe path on how to become greater is also revealed in today’s scripture. The scripture says we need to be least to be greater. In the Beatitudes we see two which ask us to be poor in spirit and meek to inherit the Kingdom of God and inherit this earth (people). \nTo be poor in spirit does not mean to be nothing but to be self-aware of our own spiritual growth and what is there to achieve. To be meek means to be gentle which in turn means to wisely seek the best path to edify others. Today’ scripture tell us to be least to be greater than John/Elijah that also means not to be nothing but to know we are little compared to what we are called to be. \nLet us not idolize anyone from the Bible that are born of woman. All of them although are gold standards yet are standards we can break. When the Lord named His own gold standards\, He did not take the names of the people I named before but took names of Noah\, Job and Daniel. These people are not usual inspiring characters yet the Lord holds them of great value\, and we need to learn of them to break gold standards. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You\, are Almighty God. You are God and You alone are God. You humbled Yourself any created this imperfect world so that in its drive for perfection it will be found suitable to dwell with You and in You. We pray Lord we be self-aware and edify others without breaking them\, we pray we know what we are called to\, so as to prepare our path ahead with the help of Your Spirit… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nGenesis 17:17 Then Abraham fell upon his face\, and laughed\, and said in his heart\, Shall [a child] be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah\, that is ninety years old\, bear? \nMatthew 5:3\,5\n3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.\n5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. \nLuke 9:54-55\n54 And when his disciples James and John saw [this]\, they said\, Lord\, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven\, and consume them\, even as Elias did?\n55 But he turned\, and rebuked them\, and said\, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. \nMatthew 11:14 And if ye will receive [it]\, this is Elias\, which was for to come. \nEzekiel 14:20 Though Noah\, Daniel\, and Job\, [were] in it\, [as] I live\, saith the Lord GOD\, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall [but] deliver their own souls by their righteousness. \n

SUMMARY:Sealing the stone
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 27:66 So they went\, and made the sepulchre sure\, sealing the stone\, and setting a watch. \nIn a crime scene like murder\, the police\, after doing their initial investigation\, seal the place until the full investigation is over. The seal alerts others that the place is under the custody of the authorities who have sealed it. \nIn the book of Daniel\, we see the symbolism of putting a seal on the stone. The king and his lords put their seal on the stone after putting Daniel in the lions’ den. The seal confirmed who had authorised it and their consent. \nSealing warned anyone from the outside from interfering and helping. In both cases of Daniel and Jesus\, those who sealed feared their supports thus had the stone was also guarded. And in both cases\, they did not imagine that the ones within did not need any help from outside. \nIn many situations\, good or bad\, we worry about forces outside and do not realise the powers within are sufficient. Let us be aware of the powers internal more than the powers external. In good cases\, we need to ignite that power and in bad cases\, we need to put all our efforts into extinguishing it. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You made us in Your Image. We pray we understand the power of that image and work to ignite it. We also pray that sin has corrupted us and the power of sin causes death to work within us. We pray Lord\, we discern the powers within and understand the dangers/benefit it holds… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nDaniel 6:17 And a stone was brought\, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet\, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. \nNehemiah 9:38 And because of all this we make a sure [covenant]\, and write [it]; and our princes\, Levites\, [and] priests\, seal [unto it]. \nSong of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart\, as a seal upon thine arm: for love [is] strong as death; jealousy [is] cruel as the grave: the coals thereof [are] coals of fire\, [which hath] a most vehement flame. \n

SUMMARY:Son of God
DESCRIPTION:John 1:34 And I saw\, and bare record that this is the Son of God. \nI have seen most\, including theologians and people considered experts in the Bible\, lack understanding of the term ‘Son of God’\, and I do not blame them\, since this concept has been programmed into them by the Catholic Church. \nWe do not realise that we believers\, even today\, have been brainwashed by the Catholic Church’s nonsense\, which they derived from pagan religions and infused into Christianity. We read many scriptures yet believe contrary to them because of doctrines programmed into us. \nAs an apologist\, I have come across Muslim Ulama (similar to our theologians) who mock Christians on the term Sons of God\, stating there are many ‘Sons of God’ in the Bible\, so how is Jesus different? \nThere is a great\, great difference between the concepts ‘God the Son’ and ‘Son of God’. Lord Jesus Christ is both. He is God the Son who humbled Himself to become both Son of man and Son of God. To be Son of God\, He\, as Son of man\, had to study the Word of God and also remain without blemish (live it). God the Son was something that He was\, but Son of God is something He had to earn/live. \nThe term Son of God has been referred to Angels and also to something we will become upon resurrection. It is the goal of our race. The term refers to one who has the image of God; in other words\, manifests the power/authority of God. It does not mean they are perfect/holy\, but means they are due for holiness\, like we are due for righteousness\, and even though we falter at times\, yet are called His righteous. \nThe term God the Son means one who has come from God (not sent but literality come from within Him). The Angel knew of this identity of the Lord Jesus Christ\, and thus when the evil spirits(fallen angels) almost revealed it\, Jesus shut them and commanded them not to reveal it. Even today\, translators err in translating that scripture and use the term Son of God instead of The God The Son. \nNone of the people around Him\, while He was in the flesh\, as man\, knew of Him as God the Son\, not even His mother Mary. They knew of Him as Son of God. It was Thomas who\, after His resurrection\, was the first to identify Him as God (God the Son/God). \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You alone are God\, and there is none other than You. As Son\, You came from the Father and humbled Yourself to create this world and everything that we know of. The Heavens and this creation and all that exist within are Your creation. You made it so that by overcoming darkness we earn our place as Sons of God and thus be found worthy to become part of the Father. Lord\, we pray we understand the impossible is being made possible by You… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMark 3:11-12\n11 And unclean spirits\, when they saw him\, fell down before him\, and cried\, saying\, Thou art the Son of God {The God The Son}.\n12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known. \nJohn 1:12 But as many as received him\, to them gave he power to become the sons of God\, [even] to them that believe on his name: \nRomans 8:14\, 19\n14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God\, they are the sons of God.\n19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God \nJohn 6:46 Not that any man {one} hath seen the Father\, save he which is of God\, he hath seen the Father. \nEphesians 3:9 And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery\, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God\, who created all things by Jesus Christ: \nPhilippians 2:5-7\n5 Let this mind be in you\, which was also in Christ Jesus:\n6 Who\, being in the form of God\, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:\n7 But made himself of no reputation\, and took upon him the form of a servant\, and was made in the likeness of men: \nIsaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born\, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful\, Counsellor\, The mighty God\, The everlasting Father\, The Prince of Peace. \nMatthew 1:23 Behold\, a virgin shall be with child\, and shall bring forth a son\, and they shall call his name Emmanuel\, which being interpreted is\, God with us. \n

SUMMARY:Being a Witness
DESCRIPTION:Acts 22:15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. \nAs a Christian\, everyone is called to two tasks: to be a messenger and to be a witness. \nA messenger is a carrier of a message\, the same as a witness\, but in the case of a witness\, the message is personal\, something that the carrier has experienced. A witness has greater impact than a messenger. One would listen to a witness anytime\, more than they would to a messenger. A witness speaks of things which he or she has not only heard but also seen/experienced. \nAsk anyone if they would like to be an Angel\, and every soul would be most glad to be one. The term Angel means messenger. What people do not realise is that we as humans are called to be witnesses\, not just messengers. After Judgment Day\, we who have been both witnesses and messengers will transform into Angels. \nWe as humans need to understand that we are truly blessed to be witnesses to the Lord Jesus Christ. So let us be grateful for making us\, and let us not lose this opportunity given unto us. Let us share all that the Lord has done in our lives. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are our Creator\, and all things You made with purpose. You created the Heavens and all that exists in them. When darkness came\, You also made man and this creation after You made the Heavens. You made man to be the Light that overcomes the darkness; instead of using the Angels\, You preferred to use man. Lord\, we thank You for making us to be blessed in You\, to be witnesses of Your Glory… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nActs 1:8 But ye shall receive power\, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem\, and in all Judaea\, and in Samaria\, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. \nActs 10:39-41\n39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews\, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:\n40 Him God raised up the third day\, and shewed him openly;\n41 Not to all the people\, but unto witnesses chosen before of God\, [even] to us\, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. \nActs 26:18 To open their eyes\, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light\, and [from] the power of Satan unto God\, that they may receive forgiveness of sins\, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. \nActs 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. \n

SUMMARY:Abundant Grace
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things [are] for your sakes\, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. \nBeing fit means you can do daily tasks and regular exercise easily\, while being extremely fit means you perform at an elite athletic level with high endurance\, strength\, and specialised physical capacity. But when it comes to being sufficient and extremely sufficient\, the definition is technically redundant or hyperbolic. Being sufficient means having exactly the right amount to meet a requirement\, while “extremely sufficient” implies having a massive surplus or an abundance well beyond the baseline needed; thus means being rich and not sufficient. \nGrace\, like in grace marks\, is all the mercy that we need to pass the basic required level. Thus\, terms like abundant grace or greater grace would sound hyperbolic\, but are not. We need to understand that there are different types of grace: the basic/default grace that we all receive by our faith in Christ is the grace to be saved. Faith\, on the other hand\, means believing or holding on to the truth. Thus\, truth and mercy are the roots and are closely connected; the more we understand and hold on to it\, the more grace we receive. We also receive grace in the various areas of our lives\, the areas in which we struggle to overcome\, but this does not come at once; we need to build our faith/understanding in those areas to receive it. \nAnother misunderstanding people have about grace is that once we receive it\, we will never lose it; thus\, they have the wrong concept of ‘once saved\, always saved’. \nUnderstanding grace is closely connected to our faith; that means we are under grace when we have faith\, and the moment we lose faith\, we are no longer in grace. Those who backslide are those who lose faith and thus grace. \nIf we are under grace\, let us not take it for granted but understand we need to grow in grace (have it in all other areas of our lives in which we struggle)\, for we may not know one day; one of the areas in which we are weak may cause us to lose faith and thus cause us to no longer be under grace. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are a Merciful God. You did not consume the Angels when one-third fell but gave them time\, even though You knew they would not repent and when man fell\, You made available a sacrifice and gave us Your Spirit as a Helper; above all\, You covered us with grace. It is Your grace that saves us when we have faith in You. Lord\, we pray we increase in faith/understanding so that we increase in grace and become spiritually strong… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace\, that we may obtain mercy\, and find grace to help in time of need. \nPsalms 85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other]. \nPsalms 61:7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth\, [which] may preserve him. \nPsalms 25:10 All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. \nProverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD [men] depart from evil.

SUMMARY:Return of unclean spirits
DESCRIPTION:Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man\, he walketh through dry places\, seeking rest; and finding none\, he saith\, I will return unto my house whence I came out. \nBible says flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; that means we\, as humans\, cannot enter Heaven but transfigure/become spirit beings as Angels on Judgment Day like Jesus transfigured\, so as to enter Heaven. Angels do not have gender or age; all were created male (Sons) and together in the beginning. We as humans have age\, for we come into the flesh at different times. \nLike flesh cannot dwell in the spirit world\, so also spirit cannot dwell in this natural world for long. It is not that they cannot\, but the repercussion of their doing will affect us tremendously. It is for this reason many times Angels and even the Lord took human forms and appeared before man. \nFallen angels/evil spirit/unclean spirits had their powers marked (restricted) during the Noah floods; thus\, they cannot take human form or any other form\, and need hosts to survive in this natural world. They cannot last long without a host or any host other than humans; it is similar to us not being able to survive long underwater. They cannot possess those who have the Name/nature of the Lord/light; they are happy dwelling in hearts that have darkness\, where the truth is absent. A single person that has great darkness can host not just one evil spirit but many. An evil spirit taking residence does not mean it actually resides in that body\, but it means it spiritually attaches to its host like a parasite/leach leading to the host’s destruction. The Holy Spirit on the other hand fills us and builds us. \nToday’s scripture warns us that if we are delivered from an evil spirit and still harbour darkness\, then there are high chances we will again be host to evil spirit/s. The chances of having more take hold are also very high. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Light\, and it is not that there is no darkness in You\, but even darkness cannot exist in Your presence. Lord\, we pray we realise that if we do not have You\, Your Word\, Your Nature in us\, then we are prone to evil spirits. We pray we always be far from darkness taking residence in our hearts and also seek light more and more\, we seek Your Spirit and Your Word for Your Word in us anchors Your Spirit greater in us… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\n1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say\, brethren\, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. \nLuke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet\, that it is I myself: handle me\, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones\, as ye see me have. \nLuke 11:23-26\n23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.\n24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man\, he walketh through dry places\, seeking rest; and finding none\, he saith\, I will return unto my house whence I came out.\n25 And when he cometh\, he findeth [it] swept and garnished.\n26 Then goeth he\, and taketh [to him] seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in\, and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first. \n

SUMMARY:Dead Preaching
DESCRIPTION:Luke 16:30 And he said\, Nay\, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead\, they will repent. \nWe find many are fooled into believing that evil spirits are spirits of the dead. They communicate with them and try to find information concerning the past or future. Many a time the spirits do give right information; that does not mean it is them. \nIf one understands the various realms of creation called the Heavens\, of which we too are a part\, one will understand scriptures better. \nThere are some fundamental facts which one should get drilled into one’s mind. If a person dies\, they either go to Hell or sleep in the Lord (called the grave/the sea\, not to be mistaken as Purgatory\, there is no Purgatory). Those who have rejected the Lord or whom the Lord rejected go to Hell\, which is a prison\, and they cannot come out. They are held there until their spirit live (which is in thousands of earthly years) and there they suffer the sins within them. \nThose who are asleep are in a Cryogenic Sleep\, and man is forbidden to communicate with them\, nor are they able to do the same\, but they are aware of what is happening. Saul was punished when he tried to wake and communicate with the spirit of the Prophet Samuel. When Jesus communicated with Moses and Elijah\, He had to transfigure (take the form of a spirit being/Angel) so as not to sin. \nLet us not be fooled into communicating with those dead or any spirit coming as the dead. Let us understand the Laws of God are not only for us but the Lord Himself abides in them. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You\, are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, made all things in a design with purpose. We pray Lord we see the purpose in all that You created\, including us who are made in Your Image. Lord we pray we do not be fooled by spirits/fallen angels due to our ignorance. Lord we pray we understand our task and do them\, instead of awaiting for some else to do it\, for we are to lose… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nLeviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits\, neither seek after wizards\, to be defiled by them: I [am] the LORD your God. \nDeuteronomy 18:10-12\n10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire\, [or] that useth divination\, [or] an observer of times\, or an enchanter\, or a witch\,\n11 Or a charmer\, or a consulter with familiar spirits\, or a wizard\, or a necromancer.\n12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. \n1 Samuel 28:8-12\, 15\, 18-19\n8 And Saul disguised himself\, and put on other raiment\, and he went\, and two men with him\, and they came to the woman by night: and he said\, I pray thee\, divine unto me by the familiar spirit\, and bring me [him] up\, whom I shall name unto thee.\n9 And the woman said unto him\, Behold\, thou knowest what Saul hath done\, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits\, and the wizards\, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life\, to cause me to die?\n10 And Saul sware to her by the LORD\, saying\, [As] the LORD liveth\, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.\n11 Then said the woman\, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said\, Bring me up Samuel.\n12 And when the woman saw Samuel\, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul\, saying\, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou [art] Saul.\n15 And Samuel said to Saul\, Why hast thou disquieted me\, to bring me up? And Saul answered\, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me\, and God is departed from me\, and answereth me no more\, neither by prophets\, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee\, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.\n18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD\, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek\, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.\n19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow [shalt] thou and thy sons [be] with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines. \nMatthew 17:1-3\n1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter\, James\, and John his brother\, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart\,\n2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun\, and his raiment was white as the light.\n3 And\, behold\, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. \n

SUMMARY:He did not run after people they ran after Him
DESCRIPTION:Mark 8:4 And his disciples answered him\, From whence can a man satisfy these [men] with bread here in the wilderness? \nWhen we look at Jesus’ ministry\, He mostly preached to crowds outside the city limits\, in the wilderness. Compare that to today’s Preachers; they look at the convenience of people and thus have events organized nearby to settlements. \nPeople can argue that in those days there were no public stadiums or large areas within city limits to manage large crowds. Market areas or gardens were the next option\, and Jesus did preach there. \nThe argument holds true\, but what we see is that four thousand went through inconvenience to hear Him; like in today’s scripture\, they were far from city limits\, and no food was available. With them was a boy who was hawking food\, and he had just 7 loaves of bread and some fish. Jesus used these 7 loaves to feed the 4000\, and all ate their fill; the leftovers\, when gathered\, filled 7 baskets. If one understands the way the two multiplications happened\, they will realise why it became the talk of the town\, such that Jesus’ siblings used it to mock Him. People themselves were involved in performing the miracle. \nGod is the provider of harvest. Let us not run after the people; let us go to them\, but always remember we need to seek quality over quantity. One sheep is greater than a hundred goats and a thousand others. Let us not compromise on how and what we preach\, such as not offending people\, but remember Jesus’ very first preaching was such a super hit that people wanted to kill Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord alone\, are God\, and there is none like You. You are Holy and expect that we too seek holiness. Lord\, we pray that we understand although we are called to be gentle yet we cannot compromise on values and the message. We pray we seek sheep instead of lots of goats\, the sheep hear Your voice and follow You… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMark 1:45 But he went out\, and began to publish [it] much\, and to blaze abroad the matter\, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city\, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. \nMark 2:13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him\, and he taught them. \nLuke 5:15-16\n15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear\, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.\n16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness\, and prayed.

SUMMARY:Different Gods
DESCRIPTION:Acts 10:31-32 And said\, Cornelius\, thy prayer is heard\, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. Send therefore to Joppa\, and call hither Simon\, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of [one] Simon a tanner by the sea side: who\, when he cometh\, shall speak unto thee. \nIn India they think Christianity to be a foreign religion. They simply say the God Christians worship is not an Indian God. \nThe Lord put a Brother into my life. He came from a Hindu background\, and at one point he even followed Islam. The one question which opened his eyes and which none could answer other than the Lord Himself was\, ‘When there are 330 million (33 crore gods in India\, who is managing the world outside?’ \nPeter was in a mindset that the God of the Jews was not the God of the Heathens / Gentiles. Later\, God cleared his mind through a vision and showed him that He is the God of all creation\, and no one is unclean (not His). \nAlso\, something that people need to get into themselves is that people are not divided according to race or gender. What divides them is their faith\, whom they worship and their walk in the Lord. So Israelites/Jews are not premium citizens\, or men greater than women; when they believe in the Lord and are in Christ\, then they are all equal. \nThere is indeed one God and all are His creation\, but also true that not all people are part of His plan/His people. It is only when people accept Him as their God and accept His purpose/His Word that they become a part of His plan/His Kingdom. \nLet us also be aware that there are many who are His but are not aware of Him; they await us reaching out to them with His message. It is His message/His voice that they come to know Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. Lord\, we pray that we get it into us that there is only one God and You alone are God. You created all things that exist\, and You made things different with purpose for us to understand the things of Heaven that are hidden. We pray we do not judge those who do not know You\, but save them from being already judged. We pray we seek them that are outside\, who are Yours and bring them to know You… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nActs 10:10-16\n10 And he became very hungry\, and would have eaten: but while they made ready\, he fell into a trance\,\n11 And saw heaven opened\, and a certain vessel descending unto him\, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners\, and let down to the earth:\n12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth\, and wild beasts\, and creeping things\, and fowls of the air.\n13 And there came a voice to him\, Rise\, Peter; kill\, and eat.\n14 But Peter said\, Not so\, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.\n15 And the voice [spake] unto him again the second time\, What God hath cleansed\, [that] call not thou common.\n16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. \nGalatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek\, there is neither bond nor free\, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

SUMMARY:We all stand before the Judgment Seat
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body\, according to that he hath done\, whether [it be] good or bad. \nWhen one questions Pastors or Preachers about their belief that Believers go to Heaven at their death\, in the context of Judgment Day\, they say Judgment is only for those who are alive then. When one points out scriptures like the one we received today\, saying we all will stand before the Judgment Seat\, they come up with an even crazier theory that even those in Heaven will be judged later. They get trapped\, for they have partly accepted the popular Catholic Church doctrine of Peter managing the entry gate of Heaven. Such that Peter\, and not Christ\, judges a person when they die. \nThe greatest problem with our Church is that its foundation is unclear; confusion creeps in\, and so do heretical doctrines. Even today\, most take an intro to the foundational topics mentioned in Hebrews 6:1-3\, and do not cover all that is mentioned. \nIt is only when we build a clear foundation that we will have Christians who are Christians and Disciples of Christ and not followers of men who call themselves Christians. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, created all things both in Heaven and this creation for a purpose. When the purpose is fulfilled\, not just this creation but even the Heavens cease to exist\, and something new and unimaginable comes to existence. Lord\, we pray we are not fooled into believing in vanity and thus destroy our lives… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHebrews 6:1-3\n1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ\, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works\, and of faith toward God\,\n2 Of the doctrine of baptisms\, and of laying on of hands\, and of resurrection of the dead\, and of eternal judgment.\n3 And this will we do\, if God permit. \nActs 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself\, The LORD said unto my Lord\, Sit thou on my right hand\, \n2 Peter 3:7\, 10-13\n7 But the heavens and the earth\, which are now\, by the same word are kept in store\, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.\n10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise\, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat\, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.\n11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved\, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness\,\n12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God\, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved\, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?\n13 Nevertheless we\, according to his promise\, look for new heavens and a new earth\, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

SUMMARY:Peace with nature
DESCRIPTION:Hosea 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field\, and with the fowls of heaven\, and [with] the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth\, and will make them to lie down safely. \nToday’s scripture talks of a peace we all hope for: a time with no natural disasters or disturbances\, and no war. It does not mean we can expect that kind of peace soon. \nEvery Bible scripture comes with a rider/condition. Today’s scripture speaks of a time when God’s people will know the Lord and will not take the name of any god on their lips. \nJust before the birth of Jesus\, Judea had experienced a major earthquake which is reported to have killed about 10\,000 to 30\,000 people (31BC). This event was preceded by a global winter caused by a major volcanic eruption in Alaska\, the Okmok volcano (43BC-36BC). Its sulfur emissions created a global volcanic winter that caused extreme cold weather\, widespread crop failures\, and severe famines. The effect of this volcanic eruption lasted almost a decade. In 26 BC a major earthquake struck western Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). The city of Tralles (modern Aydın) was completely levelled. The flood of 22 BC was particularly severe; it destroyed bridges\, inundated lower sections of the city for days\, ruined grain warehouses\, and triggered a major food shortage and plague scare in Rome. In 9 AD\, the Romans suffered great loss in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest\, which caused them to take a back seat for the next 40-45 years. \nIn all this turmoil came the Prince of Peace\, and there was no disruption or war in that area until after His death and until the existence of His core Disciples/Apostles ceased. We know that after that there was a great massacre/genocide of the Jews (known as the Great Jewish Revolt – 70AD) such that none were left alive; those who fled before were the only ones who survived. The Romans crucified as many Jews (including women and children) as they could and stopped only when they completely ran out of wood. \nThe Lord is telling us that if there are even a few who truly know the Lord amongst us\, then we will be safe. Note that the Lord always asked His anointed ones to move out of any place before He exerted His wrath on the people there\, whose evil increased abundantly. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are our Father. You love your people and bear them even when they rebel against You. It is only when they become a reason of the destruction of others that You intervene and set beasts of the field against them. Lord\, we pray we understand You desire that we correct ourselves and always experience peace… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHosea 2:16-17\n16 And it shall be at that day\, saith the LORD\, [that] thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.\n17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth\, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. \nLuke 21:20-24\n20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies\, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.\n21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.\n22 For these be the days of vengeance\, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.\n23 But woe unto them that are with child\, and to them that give suck\, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land\, and wrath upon this people.\n24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword\, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles\, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. \n

SUMMARY:Father and Jesus
DESCRIPTION:John 10:15 As the Father knoweth me\, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. \nI mentioned before that my study of biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek) started with trying to understand the relationship between the triune Godhead. As I dug deeper\, it got more complicated until finally\, in the New Testament\, I read what Jesus disclosed. That cleared everything and made the OT scriptures on that matter simpler to understand. \nThe problem is that we used pagan approaches and examples to understand the Divine God. This has prevented us from knowing God. \nIn today’s scripture\, Jesus says He knows the Father and the Father knows Him. The first part is exclusive. There are 3 scripture which state He alone has seen the Father. If truly understood\, this will baffle all our understanding of the Father/God. \nLet us discern what we have received from man and stick to that which we receive from scriptures. It is only then that we will understand God. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Creator\, and everything is created by You. You alone are God\, and You alone are Holy. Lord\, we pray we realise it is only in knowing the purpose for which You created us that we will know You and vice-versa. We pray we cleanse all that we have received from man and stick to that which we receive from You\, for only from You comes the Truth\, Truth that sets us free… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nJohn 1:18 No one has ever seen God; the only God\, who is at the Father’s side\, he has made him known. \nJohn 6:46 not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father. \n1 John 4:12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another\, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. \nLuke 10:22 All things have been handed over to me by my Father\, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father\, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

SUMMARY:Clout and fallout
DESCRIPTION:Luke 16:31 And he said unto him\, If they hear not Moses and the prophets\, neither will they be persuaded\, though one rose from the dead. \nWhen we see an unusual situation\, the impact is very high\, but then that impact too does not last long. \nSince ancient times\, religious leaders created gods with animal heads and stories that baffled human reasoning\, yet many believed them and they impacted many lives. This impact is not for a long time thus they had to come with newer gods and greater stories and thus led to what we call today as mythology. The Chinese focused on the spirits of animals while Egyptians\, Greek and Romans focused on the natural animals (at times creating their own). The ones who used natural animals did not last long but the Chinese used spirits and they have lasted longer. \nKnowing this characteristics of man even God knew as man in flesh He could not have impact on man. As man He taught His disciples for over many years yet they were unstable\, it was only when His Spirit took over that the disciples understood all that Jesus as man taught them. It was by His Spirit that they preached with power and manifested the glory of God. Jesus did not continue after His resurrection for He had greater purpose for man which only His Spirit would achieve. \nIn today’s scripture which is part of a parable we see the Lord refuses the dead form ministering saying if they would not listen to the living they would not listen to the dead. This may seem contradicting. \nWhat one needs to understand is that more than living or dead what is important is truth. If truth is denied by someone in the flesh than even a spirit cannot help but if the truth is unable to receive fully then spirit can help which a person in flesh cannot. \nWhen we minister any person we are not called to continually lead the person but called to build that person to a level that the Holy Spirit can take over. It is only the Spirit of God who can do what none in the flesh can. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You Lord are Spirit and You Kingdom is Spirit. All that is natural will perish and that is spirit will remain. Lord we pray we understand only that in spirit and having the Truth will prosper and that which does not will suffer and perish. Lord we pray we seek the Truth and only when we seek the Truth that Your Spirit can help us and proper us… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nZechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me\, saying\, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel\, saying\, Not by might\, nor by power\, but by my spirit\, saith the LORD of hosts. \nIsaiah 11:1-5\n1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse\, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:\n2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him\, the spirit of wisdom and understanding\, the spirit of counsel and might\, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;\n3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes\, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:\n4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor\, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth\, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.\n5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins\, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. \nIsaiah 32:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high\, and the wilderness be a fruitful field\, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. \nJohn 14:25-26\n25 These things have I spoken unto you\, being [yet] present with you.\n26 But the Comforter\, [which is] the Holy Spirit\, whom the Father will send in my name\, he shall teach you all things\, and bring all things to your remembrance\, whatsoever I have said unto you. \nJohn 15:26-27\n26 But when the Comforter is come\, whom I will send unto you from the Father\, [even] the Spirit of truth\, which proceedeth from the Father\, he shall testify of me:\n27 And ye also shall bear witness\, because ye have been with me from the beginning. \nJohn 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away\, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart\, I will send him unto you. \n

SUMMARY:Great faith
DESCRIPTION:Luke 7:6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house\, the centurion sent friends to him\, saying unto him\, Lord\, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: \nWe all know the story of the Roman centurion who amazed Jesus by his faith. He caused Jesus to state that no person in the whole of Israel had that level of faith which he exercised. \nHaving more knowledge and understanding of the Bible does help increase faith\, but interestingly\, faith is not necessarily proportionate to one’s knowledge and understanding. One can have little knowledge and understanding of Scripture\, yet exercise great faith. It is the absence of doubt that brings great faith. Jesus gave the example of a mustard seed. It is not the smallest seed\, but different to normal seeds because it has no pocket of air within it. Air symbolises doubt (Satan is called the Prince of Air)\, and thus\, if we do not doubt\, via faith we can do the unimaginable. Not all can have such faith. \nYesterday\, as part of a ministry\, I went to help distribute NTs at a fair. Before going\, I prayed and asked the Lord if I would meet any sheep there\, or only goats. Even though we distribute thousands of scriptures daily\, I was told I would meet only 2 who would be the Lord’s disciples. \nAfter going there\, I met these 2\, and I was sure they were the ones the Lord spoke of. One was a young sister who did not take a copy\, for she had one and was reading it daily; then I asked her if she studied it or just read it. I was explaining to her a basic level of how to study it. She had come with a large number of family members\, and all of them had moved ahead\, leaving her mother\, who did not leave her side. She was not concerned about them\, nor about her mother\, who was trying to pull her but was conscientiously hearing me. \nThe second person was a brother who had lost one eye and was hard to see with the other. When someone from the ministry offered him a copy of the NT\, he told that person he could not read and moved ahead. I immediately asked my colleague why he did not pray for his sight. Then I prayed that the Lord would make the man turn and come back\, and instantly he did. I then spoke with him and asked if he would desire to read if he could see. So I made him hold a copy in his hand and pray that he may see to read the NT. While he prayed\, we prayed over him. We could see him utterly pleading with the Lord that he desires to read\, so to make him able to see better. \nThe scripture\, many are called\, but few are chosen\, is very true. Many call themselves Christians\, but very few truly are. Knowing the ratio between sheep and goats and knowing the state till now\, I cannot imagine the later days when things will be opposite; there will be more true Christians than namesake ones. It will fulfil the scripture wherein if someone tries to mislead\, that person will be immediately made to shut up. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Truth and in You is Light. Lord\, we pray we understand it is only when we hold on to the Truth that we will manifest great faith. Lord\, we pray we clear our doubts by fellowshipping with each other and with Your Spirit so that we have great faith and manifest Your glory for Your Kingdom to come in this world… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nLuke 7:9 When Jesus heard these things\, he marvelled at him\, and turned him about\, and said unto the people that followed him\, I say unto you\, I have not found so great faith\, no\, not in Israel. \nMatthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them\, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you\, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed\, ye shall say unto this mountain\, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. \nEphesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world\, according to the prince of the power of the air\, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: \nZechariah 13:\n3 And it shall come to pass\, [that] when any shall yet prophesy\, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him\, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.\n4 And it shall come to pass in that day\, [that] the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision\, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: \n

DESCRIPTION:Matthew 8:29 And\, behold\, they cried out\, saying\, What have we to do with thee\, Jesus\, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? \nWhen the topic of spiritual warfare comes up\, we see people picturing it as Angels with swords fighting demons. Even Judgment Day is illustrated as millions of Angels (many on horses) with weapons fighting demons. The interesting fact is that Angels are shown as women more than men\, even though the Bible refers to them as Sons of God. \nI had the opportunity to have an encounter with an Angel twice; once I could not see but heard a voice clearly (not just me but also those with me)\, and that helped us to be saved by minutes from being stuck in the floods that hit Mumbai in 2005. The second time\, I had a clear visual of the Angel; the people around me did not (quiet a lot of them were there in that small hall)\, but they did sense the glory and would not stand or do normal worship. They kept repeating just one line for more than an hour\, and those playing the instruments were just playing something\, not bothered by what the others were playing. The Angel appeared as an outline of bright light. The outline appeared to be a being looking like a human covered with a long robe\, with long hair whose end was not visible\, nor were the ends of the Angel’s hands or feet. Angels are neither female nor male as humans are; they are spirit beings and referred to as Sons since they have the image of the Father. \nThe concept of Angels being female comes from pagan beliefs like Greek/Roman. They had the Amazons\, a kingdom of female warriors that none could match; even the gods feared them. Angels do not carry weapons like humans or pagan gods; the authority that they carry is their weapon. Their word is sufficient. Now imagine the power of the word spoken by the Lord. If it was His word by which all things were created\, then does He need an army or weapons? \nPeople\, due to lack of knowledge\, understanding and fear\, have made Satan a god. They fear him more than they fear the Omnipotent\, Omnipresent and Omniscient God. They do not know Satan\, and they also do not know God The Father\, God The Son\, The Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ; they picture them as superhumans. \nToday’s scripture shows Satan and his goons know their end\, and there is no escape from their end. They have given a period\, and on Judgment Day they will meet their doom (punishment unto death). Unlike humans who have the hope of being saved\, they do not. God knows they will not\, since they knowingly rebelled against Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are a Merciful God. When You see even a little hope\, You do all You can to bring success. Lord\, we pray we do not harden our hearts such that we squash the little hope and are counted with the fallen angels for damnation… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name. Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMark 1:24 Saying\, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee\, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art\, the Holy One of God. \nMark 5:7 And cried with a loud voice\, and said\, What have I to do with thee\, Jesus\, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God\, that thou torment me not. \nLuke 4:34 Saying\, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee\, [thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. \nLuke 8:28 When he saw Jesus\, he cried out\, and fell down before him\, and with a loud voice said\, What have I to do with thee\, Jesus\, [thou] Son of God most high? I beseech thee\, torment me not. \nMark 3:11-12\n11 And unclean spirits\, when they saw him\, fell down before him\, and cried\, saying\, Thou art the Son of God.\n12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known. \nLuke 4:41 And devils also came out of many\, crying out\, and saying\, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking [them] suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. \nJude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate\, but left their own habitation\, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. \n

SUMMARY:Devils know Him Do we
DESCRIPTION:Mark 1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases\, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak\, because they knew him. \nPeople know there is power in His Name\, for many scriptures confirm this. But they think just by knowing Him they will experience this power. \nToday’s scripture and many other scriptures show that Jesus did not allow evil spirits/demons/fallen angels to reveal who He was. The shocking fact is that that situation was not only then but even today most Christians know the Lord Jesus Christ less than what evil spirits do. \nPeople truly do not study scriptures; even while reading\, they abide by what man has spoken to them and not what the scripture speaks to them. Just of late\, I was shocked to realise a 100-year-old ministry that is connected to scripture distribution itself misunderstood a scripture and misquotes it every time. They assume Isaiah 55:11 speaks of every copy achieving its purpose and not returning void; they do not realise it speaks of what the Bible claims/states will not return void. The parable of sowers and seeds gives a clear understanding that where we sow is important of it fruitfulness. \nLet us understand that the power in the Name of Jesus is when we are in His Name. Just knowing or studying about Him will not manifest His power\, but only when we abide in His Name will that power manifest in us. As we know Him more\, we are called to abide in Him more; it is then we will see the glory of God. But if we study of Him more and not abide in Him\, then we are very likely to become hard-hearted like the demons/evil spirits. \nLast night itself\, a veteran Preacher was confidently sharing with me about his experiences with well-known pastor/s and how their attitude shocked him. Their response at that moment was not just unworthy as a Christian but heartless as a human. \nLet us stop being verbal Christians and more actioned Christians. Let our actions speak more than what our mouths do. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You\, are Almighty God. You Lord are Living God\, a God who is Holy\, Righteous and Loving. It is not in words but also by Your works You prove who You are. We pray Lord\, we realise we cannot fool You but only ourselves by being verbal Christians. Your Word says to follow You to be Your Disciple and not just reap what You have spoken. We pray we do not harden our hearts to be like demons but abide in You to be like the Heavenly Angels… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nJohn 1:12 But as many as received him\, to them gave he power to become the sons of God\, [even] to them that believe on his name: \n1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ\, when ye are gathered together\, and my spirit\, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ\, \nIsaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void\, but it shall accomplish that which I please\, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. \nLuke 8:5-10\n5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed\, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down\, and the fowls of the air devoured it.\n6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up\, it withered away\, because it lacked moisture.\n7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it\, and choked it.\n8 And other fell on good ground\, and sprang up\, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things\, he cried\, He that hath ears to hear\, let him hear.\n9 And his disciples asked him\, saying\, What might this parable be?\n10 And he said\, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see\, and hearing they might not understand. \nMark 1:25 And Jesus rebuked him\, saying\, Hold thy peace\, and come out of him. \nMark 3:12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known. \nLuke 4:41 And devils also came out of many\, crying out\, and saying\, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking [them] suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. \n

SUMMARY:Boanerges – Sons of Thunder
DESCRIPTION:Mark 3:17 And James the [son] of Zebedee\, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges\, which is\, The sons of thunder: \nIn my previous messages on the mother of James and John\, I showed she was Salome\, the sister of Mary\, whom Jesus also called as Mary\, giving her the same respect as His mother. That made James and John close cousins of Jesus and the reason why Simon Peter became His disciple since Peter was their business partner in their fishing business and was known to Jesus from before. \nMany days back\, when my daughter was doing her first sharing of the Word\, her topic was Salome (she shares the same name)\, I was surprised to know the reason Jesus called James and John Boanerges – sons of thunder was not because of their father\, of whom nothing much is written other than that he was well-to-do and had good relations with the High Priest. We see Salome’s character in her dedication to the ministry of Jesus and\, above all\, her persistence in seeing her sons do great. \nThe word Boanerges\, translated as ‘sons of thunder’\, is a compound word\, and the latter part roots from the word ‘to conspire’. The word thunder does not speak of power but of persistence\, endurance\, and determination. \nIf my derivation of Salome\, the wife of Zebedee\, is right\, it shows Jesus gave the same respect and importance to the women in His ministry as He did to the men\, not putting men above women as was done in His time. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are God\, and You are Spirit. You created us in spirit in the beginning of creation and set us in time in this human body\, which has male and female genders. Our gender does not determine our relationship with You. You see what we are in heart than anything else… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nMark 15:40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene\, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses\, and Salome; \nMark 16:1 And when the sabbath was past\, Mary Magdalene\, and Mary the [mother] of James\, and Salome\, had bought sweet spices\, that they might come and anoint him. \nMatthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath\, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week\, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. \nJohn 19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother\, and his mother’s sister\, Mary the [wife] of Cleophas\, and Mary Magdalene. \n

SUMMARY:The destroyers within
DESCRIPTION:Amos 5:12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just\, they take a bribe\, and they turn aside the poor in the gate [from their right]. \nDuring my interaction with the veteran Preacher whom I mentioned in my last message\, he shared (he is retired now) about a colleague during his working days in a bank. The colleague was a formidable Hindu and performed the office puja every year. But after interacting with our Brother and hearing the Gospel denied to do the puja. He even stopped taking part in any Hindu ritual\, including taking Prasad. The height was when he\, who was not suitable for a job\, started declaring that he would get it because of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When the result came\, his name was not there; on fervent prayer of our Brother another update to the result came\, which was something that never happened and on the update his name was found. After all this\, when he joined a Believer Church\, the Pastor there forced him to tithe (something that is to build faith) caused him to leave the Church\, for he was in debt and needed time to come out of it. \nThere are many stories of how Pastors and Church leaders destroyed\, or tried to destroy\, the faith of people whom the Lord touched. Myself\, if the Lord was not in one-on-one communication with me\, I do not think I would have survived the Churches I have been or am in. Even in ministries\, we find people who do not fear God in what they do but fear the leaders of the ministry. \nChurches have become slaughterhouses of the faithful; they deceive people with religious Church activities that divert the focus from God and His Kingdom to Church expansion and management. They fool people to think just reading the Bible is sufficient and discourage them from studying it deeply\, for they themselves have no answers. \nLet us fear God and remember all have to answer Him on Judgment Day. We can fool man but cannot fool God. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are a merciful God. You are a zealous God\, very possessive of Your little ones. You warned that it is better to tie a large rock around one’s neck and jump into the deep sea rather than destroy any of Your little ones\, yet people do not fear You in doing so\, they prefer pleasing man… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nAmos 5:9-11\n9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong\, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.\n10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate\, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.\n11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading [is] upon the poor\, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone\, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards\, but ye shall not drink wine of them. \nMatthew 23:13 But woe unto you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves]\, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. \nMatthew 23:14 Woe unto you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses\, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. \nMatthew 23:15\, 25\n15 Woe unto you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte\, and when he is made\, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.\n25 Woe unto you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter\, but within they are full of extortion and excess. \nMatthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me\, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck\, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea. \n

SUMMARY:Woe
DESCRIPTION:Luke 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child\, and to them that give suck\, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land\, and wrath upon this people. \nWhen we read in the Bible about the times when the Lord became the greatest enemy of His own people and thousands died\, we tend to think\, “Is God merciless”? \nAware of a great disaster set to happen in the next year (if my interpretation of visions is correct). The vision was given many years back\, and things that did not exist then came into existence over time. Every time I asked the Lord why\, He answered with His disappointment in what is happening in churches. Since that day\, all He is doing is exposing the hearts of the leaders\, and I am seeing the worst side of them\, which I was ignorant of before. People whom I looked up to and admired\, today I look at them with wonder as to whether they know what they are doing. Yesterday too\, I received a great shock which has broken me deeply. From a position of “Why is the Lord merciless” it becomes “How is the Lord so patient till now”. \nToday I did not want to send out this message\, for what is the use of beating people with the same stick when they do not want to hear it; all they want to listen to is ‘God is good always’\, ‘God forgives’\, ‘He understands’\, ‘He has already set a place for us in Heaven’… \nIf God wanted to just onboard junk to Heaven\, then He would not have given us His Word; He would have done it in private and sent a one-liner for all as an invitation. \nThe Lord\, after His sacrifice\, gave us His Spirit so that we abide in His Word. It is only those who abide in Him are the ones who will see the gates of Heaven. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, God\, created us for a purpose\, and Heaven is just a temporary place for us. You will create a greater Heaven and nations\, for You have things that are beyond human imagination set for us. Lord\, we pray we do not take You lightly but understand the seriousness of what You have called us to… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nLuke 21:22-24\n22 For these be the days of vengeance\, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.\n23 But woe unto them that are with child\, and to them that give suck\, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land\, and wrath upon this people.\n24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword\, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles\, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. \n1 Corinthians 10:7-13\n7 Neither be ye idolaters\, as [were] some of them; as it is written\, The people sat down to eat and drink\, and rose up to play.\n8 Neither let us commit fornication\, as some of them committed\, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.\n9 Neither let us tempt Christ\, as some of them also tempted\, and were destroyed of serpents.\n10 Neither murmur ye\, as some of them also murmured\, and were destroyed of the destroyer.\n11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition\, upon whom the ends of the world are come.\n12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.\n13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful\, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape\, that ye may be able to bear [it]. \n

SUMMARY:Leaderless People
DESCRIPTION:Hosea 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king\, and without a prince\, and without a sacrifice\, and without an image\, and without an ephod\, and [without] teraphim: \nThe book of Hosea was written between 755-710 BC\, and David ruled between 1010-950 BC. The next verse says they are seeking King David; they are seeking a dead king! \nThis prophecy of Hosea speaks of people without a leader\, a headless people\, and people without purpose\, having no spiritual authority\, whose sins drown them. The prophecy of Hosea was not for that era\, but it seems even more apt for the era we are in now. \nMost of the evangelism we have seen until 2017 (after which evangelism has taken the back seat) and even the little that happens now is focused on adding people to Churches and not to the Kingdom of God. Preachers are selling healings and miracles to get people into Churches to worship Baal (an unknown god) and not the Divine God. There are a minuscule number who are making disciples for Christ and not of themselves/man. \nThe brighter side is that this phase will soon end\, and a phase will come where people will know God and be well rooted in the Word. The word ‘David’ means ‘beloved’\, so the prophecy speaks of them seeking their Beloved King\, which is Christ. We are moving into a phase where people will want God more than healings\, miracles and blessings. They will seek Him more than things from Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Omnipotent\, Omniscient and Omnipresent. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and light to our path. It instructs us about our lives and also about the times. Lord\, we pray we seek to know Your Word and know You. We pray we do not grope in darkness but be children of light\, knowing and acting in time… \nWe make this prayer in Jesus’ Name. Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHosea 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return\, and seek the LORD their God\, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days. \n1 Corinthians 11:31-32\n31 For if we would judge ourselves\, we should not be judged.\n32 But when we are judged\, we are chastened of the Lord\, that we should not be condemned with the world. \nDeuteronomy 8:5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart\, that\, as a man chasteneth his son\, [so] the LORD thy God chasteneth thee. \nPsalms 94:12-13\n12 Blessed [is] the man whom thou chastenest\, O LORD\, and teachest him out of thy law;\n13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity\, until the pit be digged for the wicked. \n
