SUMMARY:Ready to Die!
DESCRIPTION:Luke 7:2 And a certain centurion’s servant\, who was dear unto him\, was sick\, and ready to die. \nWe all know of the incident of the centurion whose faith surprised Jesus. Jesus went on to say that his faith was the greatest in the land\, including those amongst the Israelites. \nToday I am not going in that direction\, but what got my attention is the words ‘ready to die’\, which in other translations is given as ‘to the point of death’. Both try to convey the same message\, but the words ‘ready to die’ are hard-hitting and impactful\, causing us to understand death more deeply. \nWe all die a natural death when our spirit leaves our natural body. When this happens\, our natural body engine shuts down and starts to decay. The words ‘ready to die’ show us that there is a force that holds our spirit to our natural body\, and this force is reduced when we are naturally sick or mentally weak. This force is more mental than physical. \nJust working on building our natural body does not assure good natural life; we also need to be mentally healthy. The term psychosomatic disorders speaks of physical illnesses that originate from mental health and emotional distress. While the physical symptoms are absolutely real\, their root cause lies in how the mind processes stress\, trauma\, or emotional struggles. Sicknesses like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or stomach ulcers are highly responsive to emotional tension. Also\, unresolved mental stress can naturally lead to palpitations\, racing heart\, and elevated blood pressure. The list goes on… \nThe fact that the rich have lots of resources to take care of the natural body yet are highly prone to death because they lack mental health. On the other hand\, a poor man may not be physically top-notch but will live longer because of better mental health. \nThe comforts of this world do not guarantee a better life\, but only when we balance them with our spiritual life do we see a better\, longer life. \nLet us be mindful when we seek riches\, we also seek death; thus\, to have a better life\, we need to feed only our needs and not our wants. We need to grow from tithing to giving (letting our cups overflow instead of enlarging our cups). \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. Lord\, You are Spirit\, You are Awesome. You\, Lord\, made us spirits and put us in this natural body in the wombs of our mothers. You made us mighty\, but we do not seek the things of the spirit\, but more things of the flesh; thus are we little in the Kingdom. We pray\, Lord\, we discern that which is needed and which is not. We pray we learn to be sober… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nLuke 7:3-10\n3 And when he heard of Jesus\, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews\, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.\n4 And when they came to Jesus\, they besought him instantly\, saying\, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:\n5 For he loveth our nation\, and he hath built us a synagogue.\n6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house\, the centurion sent friends to him\, saying unto him\, Lord\, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:\n7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word\, and my servant shall be healed.\n8 For I also am a man set under authority\, having under me soldiers\, and I say unto one\, Go\, and he goeth; and to another\, Come\, and he cometh; and to my servant\, Do this\, and he doeth [it].\n9 When Jesus heard these things\, he marvelled at him\, and turned him about\, and said unto the people that followed him\, I say unto you\, I have not found so great faith\, no\, not in Israel.\n10 And they that were sent\, returning to the house\, found the servant whole that had been sick. \nDated 15 May 2026\nBro Rollwyn

SUMMARY:Father honors the Son
DESCRIPTION:John 8:54 Jesus answered\, If I honour myself\, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say\, that he is your God: \nThe word honour is misunderstood as to glorify; one can glorify oneself\, but not honour oneself. In English\, the word honour means to respect\, to have esteem. It can be used as a verb\, noun or even adjective. Its rendering changes as a verb\, as a noun and as an adjective. \nIn Greek\, the word translated as honour is the word ‘doxazo’\, which comes from the root word to have an opinion\, to judge\, to preeminence… \nIn short\, as a noun\, it requires someone of greater authority or position\, as used in today’s scripture. A teacher can honor student\, a management its employee\, a head of an army its member. \nAs a verb\, even a person of a lower state can honour someone greater and vice versa\, like in 1 Samuel 2:30. We honour God and God honours us. \nAs an adjective like ‘honourable’\, it requires a lower state person to be honoured by a person of a greater state i.e. 2 Samuel 23:. \nOne might say we are called to honour our father and mother\, even though they are in a greater hierarchy than we\, so how does this logic apply? \nWe are indeed called to honour our father and mother\, even though they are of a higher hierarchy than we\, but the treasure lies in understanding it. We cannot honour them when fit or well to do in health\, thus when the Lord commanded we honour them is when they are unwell or old to take care of themselves. Thus\, showering love on them\, they are well-to-do\, is not honouring\, but when they are not\, it is. We read in yesterday’s message about being ‘ready for death’\, which means when they are weak mentally or physically\, we are called to honour them. \nGod the Father is eternal\, so also is the Son\, thus the Father is always greater than the Son. So the Son can glorify the Father but not honour Him\, it is the Father alone who can glorify the Son and also honour Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You God\, are Eternal for You have Life within You\, and since the Son came from within You so also does the Son have Life within Himself. Lord\, You created us and gave us life\, which is for a period\, but You made it possible for us to live eternally when we are in Your presence\, having access to the Tree of Life/River of Life. Lord\, we pray we understand our duty to honour others and from whom we can seek honour… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nExodus 20:12 Honor thy father and thy mother\, that thy days may be long in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee. \n1 Samuel 2:30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith\, I said indeed [that] thy house\, and the house of thy father\, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith\, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour\, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. \n2 Samuel 23:23 He was more honourable than the thirty\, but he attained not to the [first] three. And David set him over his guard. \nDated 16 May 2026\nBro Rollwyn

SUMMARY:While under the Fig Tree
DESCRIPTION:John 1: 48 Nathanael saith unto him\, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him\, Before that Philip called thee\, when thou wast under the fig tree\, I saw thee. \nNathanael means ‘gift of God’\, Philip means lover of horses (horses symbolise prosperity)\, and the fig tree symbolises people (not people of God\, which is symbolised as the olive tree). \nThe scripture tells us Nathanael was identified for spiritual prosperity while he was one of the people. \nWe see the moment Phillip told him about Jesus while he was standing under the fig tree\, he doubted Phillip\, for Nathanael remembered scriptures (history) about how the people of Galilee were in great darkness\, and also he himself was from Galilee\, but he forgot the words of Isaiah\, which said the Saviour would be known in Galilee. \nJesus was born in Bethlehem\, and as an infant\, along with His parent they fled to Egypt for a period and then came to Galilee\, for it was the home of Mary (Joseph may have died in Egypt – which is not recorded). Mary\, being from Galilee\, was deeply involved in pagan rituals\, even though she loved the Lord. We see she tried to do Egyptian rituals of the dead on the body of Jesus on the third day\, as the sisters of Lazarus did with his body. Jesus cried at the tomb of Lazarus not because he was dead (Jesus knew of that long before and had come to bring him back to life)\, but cried because He was disheartened to see what they had done with his body. \nNathanael is believed to be Bartholomew\, one of the twelve Apostles chosen by Jesus\, as he was a native of Cana in Galilee. \nIn OT\, we see the Holy Spirit as a pillar of fire/cloud\, who was with the Israelites even before they crossed the Red Sea (which is symbolic of baptism). God was with us even before we decided to follow Him\, and because He was with us\, we have been able to choose Him. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Love. Although Your Love was manifested on the Cross\, it is evident that You loved us even before we knew You. Lord\, we pray we understand it is because of Your love for us that we have been able to know You and become possible heirs to Your Kingdom… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nIsaiah 9:1-2\n1 Nevertheless the dimness [shall] not [be] such as [was] in her vexation\, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali\, and afterward did more grievously afflict [her by] the way of the sea\, beyond Jordan\, in Galilee of the nations.\n2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death\, upon them hath the light shined. \nJohn 11:11\,14\, 34-39\,44\n11 These things spake he: and after this he saith unto them\, Our friend Lazarus is fallen asleep; but I go\, that I may awake him out of sleep.\n14 Then Jesus therefore said unto them plainly\, Lazarus is dead.\n34 and said\, Where have ye laid him? They say unto him\, Lord\, come and see.\n35 Jesus wept.\n36 The Jews therefore said\, Behold how he loved him!\n38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the tomb. Now it was a cave\, and a stone lay against it.\n39 Jesus saith\, Take ye away the stone. Martha\, the sister of him that was dead\, saith unto him\, Lord\, by this time the body decayeth; for he hath been [dead] four days.\n44 He that was dead came forth\, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes {bandages}; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them\, Loose him\, and let him go. \nJohn 21:2 There were together Simon Peter\, and Thomas called Didymus\, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee\, and the [sons] of Zebedee\, and two other of his disciples. \nActs 1:13 And when they were come in\, they went up into an upper room\, where abode both Peter\, and James\, and John\, and Andrew\, Philip\, and Thomas\, Bartholomew\, and Matthew\, James [the son] of Alphaeus\, and Simon Zelotes\, and Judas [the brother] of James. \nDated 18 May 2026\nBro Rollwyn

SUMMARY:We neither live nor die for ourselves
DESCRIPTION:Romans 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself\, and no man dieth to himself. \nWe all know the Lord (The Son) created us and created all things for a purpose. What today’s scripture says is that even if we abide in the purpose\, or not\, yet we fulfil the purpose! \nIt is true that if we do not abide by the purpose\, we still fulfil the purpose. We all glorify the Lord even when we go against Him\, His Kingdom\, or His Name. The Bible says that both Moses and Pharaoh glorified the Lord\, but between them\, one shall be glorified in Him and the other vilified. One will prosper for eternity\, and the other will suffer vanity. \nLet us understand that we live for the Lord and also die to Him. We have a choice to live or to die; either way\, we will glorify Him. So let us choose life instead of death. Let us die to ourselves so that we live in Him\, we will be an example. If we choose to live for ourselves\, then we will surely die in Him and be made an example. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You\, Lord\, are Life\, and Life is only in You. You made us so that we may have life. Lord\, we pray that we understand that when we choose You\, we choose life and not death and suffering. We pray\, we die to ourselves so that we have life in You… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nRomans 14:8 For whether we live\, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die\, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore\, or die\, we are the Lord’s. \nJohn 21:19 This spake he\, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this\, he saith unto him\, Follow me. \nMatthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

SUMMARY:Consequence of our flawed relationship with God
DESCRIPTION:Hosea 4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains\, and burn incense upon the hills\, under oaks and poplars and elms\, because the shadow thereof [is] good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom\, and your spouses shall commit adultery. \nWorshipping on top of mountains or burning incense on hills does not imply the actual locations\, but something that we say as ‘over the top’ or extravagant. \nAnyone in ministry will see movement of God or the glory of God is less felt in Mega Churches and more in small Churches. In mega churches\, they will have all the facilities\, equipment\, trained singers and good musical instrument players\, yet when they worship\, it is like God is asleep. The worship is good to hear\, but it does not move the heart. They are more concern of their relationship with each other\, and less about their relationship with the Lord. \nIn today’s message\, the Lord is telling us our worship is not right with God; therefore\, our behaviour is not right with each other. This is evident with the youth in most mega Churches. It brings tears to one’s eyes to see the spiritual state that they are in. They have redefined God and His Word just to hide their spiritual and natural fornication with each other. They do not even blink while spiritually destroying each other\, which is nothing less than murder. \nIt is time we stick to the bare minimum when it comes to natural things and concentrate more on spiritual things. Understand that either we seek people to have a good experience\, or we seek them to experience God. The Tabernacle made in a tent by Moses experienced the presence of God more than that made of gold and precious stones by Solomon. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You God created all things including gold and precious stones and they are the same as mud. For You\, Lord\, the mud You used to create man is more important than that which was made into gold or precious stones. Lord we pray we seek life into our relationship with You more than worldly glory… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nHosea 4:12-14\n12 My people ask counsel at their stocks\, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused [them] to err\, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.\n13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains\, and burn incense upon the hills\, under oaks and poplars and elms\, because the shadow thereof [is] good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom\, and your spouses shall commit adultery.\n14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom\, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores\, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people [that] doth not understand shall fall. \nIsaiah 57:5-8\n5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree\, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?\n6 Among the smooth [stones] of the stream [is] thy portion; they\, they [are] thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering\, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?\n7 Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.\n8 Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered [thyself to another] than me\, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed\, and made thee [a covenant] with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest [it \n

SUMMARY:His Priestly clothes
DESCRIPTION:John 20: 6-7 Then cometh Simon Peter following him\, and went into the sepulchre\, and seeth the linen clothes lie\, And the napkin\, that was about his head\, not lying with the linen clothes\, but wrapped together in a place by itself. \nToday’s scripture speaks of when the disciples came to investigate the tomb\, they found the body of Jesus not there\, but His linen clothes were on the floor\, with the handkerchief/napkin which was placed on His face neatly folded and laid aside separately. \nOne can find this incident astonishing: why did He go to Hell and later be resurrected\, leaving His garments behind\, yet when He appeared later\, He was wearing garments? \nEverything that happened after He came from Jericho to Jerusalem until His death\, resurrection and until His ascension can be understood only by understanding the books of Moses. Every sacrifice was fulfilled in Him\, freeing us from all curses and sicknesses. When we claim them into our lives\, we see the results. \nWe are called Priests because He handed over the mantle unto us by leaving His garments for us. A Priest\, unlike a Man of God\, is a representative of the people before God. We are set free from the bondages of sin and curses\, but are made bondmen to the people\, to save them as the Lord saved us. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are Love and Merciful. As Your Sons\, we are called to imitate You. Lord\, we pray that we understand the importance of representing You to others. We pray we are not found without extra oil and not allowed to enter the gates of Heaven… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nLeviticus 16:23-24\, 32-34\n23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation\, and shall put off the linen garments\, which he put on when he went into the holy [place]\, and shall leave them there:\n24 And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place\, and put on his garments\, and come forth\, and offer his burnt offering\, and the burnt offering of the people\, and make an atonement for himself\, and for the people.\n32 And the priest\, whom he shall anoint\, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest s office in his father s stead\, shall make the atonement\, and shall put on the linen clothes\, [even] the holy garments:\n33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary\, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation\, and for the altar\, and he shall make an atonement for the priests\, and for all the people of the congregation.\n34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you\, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses. \nEzekiel 42:14 When the priests enter therein\, then shall they not go out of the holy [place] into the utter court\, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they [are] holy; and shall put on other garments\, and shall approach to [those things] which [are] for the people. \nExodus 29:29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons after him\, to be anointed therein\, and to be consecrated in them. \nEphesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another\, forgiving each other\, just as in Christ God forgave you.” \nJohn 13:34: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you\, so you must love one another.” \n1 Corinthians 9:19 For though I be free from all\, yet have I made myself servant unto all\, that I might gain the more

SUMMARY:Commission not derive from man
DESCRIPTION:Galatians 1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia\, and returned again unto Damascus. \nIf Paul was existent today\, would have been banned from Churches. Today\, churches require people to give importance to the Pastor/Church leaders\, and any decision regarding ministry or a change in the church requires the Pastor’s approval. Pastors also confirm with each other to maintain harmony \nWhen I was a Catholic\, I saw that the Bishop tightly controlled everything. As a Catholic\, one could not do ministry (evangelism)\, healings or deliverance without the permission of the Bishop. And if the person went against the Bishop’s instructions\, then that person ran the risk of being excommunicated by the Church. That means the congregation would socially boycott the person\, and Catholic institutions like schools would not entertain the family. In the older times when most schools were run by the Catholic Church\, and communication was restricted to letters\, phone calls or physical meetings\, such threats had serious effects. Today\, they do not; they have become like the fatwas issued by Muslim clergy. \nPaul knew his commission was divine and not at the hands of any man; thus he did not jump to pay his respects or take approvals from the Apostles. \nWe need to understand when to be led by men and when to be led by the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is directly guiding us\, then do not belittle Him by reaching out to man for approvals. It is true initially when we are not clear\, then we need to reconfirm with those more spiritually grown than us if it is the Holy Spirit\, our own mind or another power trying to guide us. Paul was clear who was guiding him\, thus he followed the Holy Spirit rather than man. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. You are the Architect of this world\, for You created all things. Lord\, we pray that we know Your importance in our lives\, we pray we do not put man over You… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nGalatians 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter\, and abode with him fifteen days. \nActs 9:18-22\n18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith\, and arose\, and was baptized.\n19 And when he had received meat\, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.\n20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues\, that he is the Son of God.\n21 But all that heard [him] were amazed\, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem\, and came hither for that intent\, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?\n22 But Saul increased the more in strength\, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus\, proving that this is very Christ. \nPsalms 52:7 Lo\, [this is] the man [that] made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches\, [and] strengthened himself in his wickedness.\nPsalms 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. \n

SUMMARY:Stirring the spirit at the right time
DESCRIPTION:Haggai 1: 14-15 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel\, governor of Judah\, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech\, the high priest\, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts\, their God\, In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month\, in the second year of Darius the king. \nToday’s scripture speaks of the Lord stirring the spirits of Zerubbabel\, of Joshua and of all the remnants of the people. The stirring caused them to do the work of the house of the Lord of hosts. What is important to note is that a date is also mentioned\, and if one studies the chain of events\, the date has importance. \nFor the past 2 days\, I could not send any messages since I was attending the Gideon’s State Convention\, and the theme they chose this year is ‘Sharpen the Edge’ (Ecclesiastes 10:10). The verse speaks of\, if the iron is blunt and he does not sharpen the edge\, he must put more strength into it. It then ends with speaking of wisdom as being important for direction. \nWe can find great worldly wisdom when we look at it in the natural sense. But when we look at it in the spiritual sense\, it brings change and empowerment to the person. \nThe word for ‘Iron’ in Hebrew comes from the word meaning ‘vessel’\, the word for ‘edge’ comes from the word meaning ‘face’\, and the word ‘blunt’ means ‘to be dull’/ ‘ineffective’. \nIf we understand it\, it speaks of us (the vessels) not having a clear identity of who we are\, the important role we play in the plans of the Kingdom of God\, we will be dull and ineffective. It is only when we know God and His plans for us that we start to be effective and sharp. Spiritual wisdom and understanding direct us to our goal and victory in the most effective way with the least effort. \nStirring the spirit is about bringing purpose\, and that is not just the spark that starts the engine but also the fuel to drive it. \n[Prayer Starter]\nLord\, You are Almighty God. The world is filled with worldly knowledge but lacks spiritual understanding for they lack spiritual wisdom. We pray Lord Preachers do not pursue entertainment and worldly glory but deliver wisdom and understanding of the Word so that we take things by spiritual force greater than John the Baptist did… \nThis prayer we make in Jesus’ Name\, Amen. \n[Reference Scriptures]\nEcclesiastes 10:10 If the iron be blunt\, and he do not whet the edge\, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom [is] profitable to direct. \nEphesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship\, created in Christ Jesus unto good works\, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. \n1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen race\, a royal priesthood\, a holy nation\, a people for his own possession\, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
