Christian outlaws

Isaiah 59:13,14 - In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Most Christians have moved from the Pharisee era (from traditions) to the Sadducee era (following scriptures without understanding) and due to this there are many who have become outlaw.

Yesterday I was conversing with an ardent Pastor who once upon a time had about 10 Churches under him. He started studying and getting deep into scriptures and speaking what the Lord was teaching him.

For some time the people started appreciating his teaching and flocked to attend him meeting for they found boldness and power in his teachings. He went various places even abroad sharing the Truth. But when the teachings called for change in the way of life and working of church leaders or the understandings which they carried, they started taking offence with him. It soon came to a stage that they branded him as a cult and banished him out of the church.

Today by God's grace and after 10 years they have realized their mistake, but their mistake had a toll on the fire within him.

If we read in the letters of Paul the early Church leaders continually studied the scriptures and at no time did they think they knew all. This also does not mean that teachings should not be discerned, but it means all teachings should be given a chance to be proven with the Word of God.

I was happy today at the morning Church service the preacher spoke things which the Lord had personally taught me about the Name of Jesus and which I had not heard from any mouth. I only hope he too does not get outlawed. One thing which I really liked which he shared was the reason why most conflicts occur is due to desires. People desire or lust for things of this world which are not according to the Kingdom of God and to receive them they start to lie, deceive and destroying people's lives like in the message the Lord has given us today.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, You are Truth. You are the same everlasting, You never change. Your glory has no boundaries and your wisdom never comprehensible. Through your Word Lord, You have made it able for man to have an insight of your Kingdom and to come to know You. Lord, open our minds and let man understand he is far from knowing the Truth in full and what he knows is just a small part of it. We also pray for those who operate in the flesh and distort the Word or mislead people, that they repent from their ways or make them a testimony so that fear of You will reign...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
