Let the light in you shine

Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Last Sunday there was someone shared something very beautiful at the service. He was person who did go through great problems in life but yet came into the Lord. He said whenever he would hear testimonies of others he would feel if only I had that great testimony I could have bought more and more people into the Lord. Then the Lord opened his eyes to the truth.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ understand our testimonies do not change people; they encourage people's hearts to change. It is the Spirit of the Lord who does the real work.

Have we all gone through what Abraham went through, but do we not share his testimony to bring people's heart to change?

You may not have a dramatic testimony; but whatever testimony you have is unique and is perfect for those people whom the Lord puts into your life. It may not be the final knockout punch, but will be a necessary for someone else to give the knockout punch. So, you do your part with the purpose to bring change in people so that God the Father is glorified in them.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, I thank You for making me, me. I thank You for opening my eyes and rescuing me from the claws of death. Lord You have made me special for the mission which You have put in my life. Help me Lord not to see me in your work, but You alone in the work I do for You...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
