2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
Being fit means you can do daily tasks and regular exercise easily, while being extremely fit means you perform at an elite athletic level with high endurance, strength, and specialised physical capacity. But when it comes to being sufficient and extremely sufficient, the definition is technically redundant or hyperbolic. Being sufficient means having exactly the right amount to meet a requirement, while “extremely sufficient” implies having a massive surplus or an abundance well beyond the baseline needed; thus means being rich and not sufficient.
Grace, like in grace marks, is all the mercy that we need to pass the basic required level. Thus, terms like abundant grace or greater grace would sound hyperbolic, but are not. We need to understand that there are different types of grace: the basic/default grace that we all receive by our faith in Christ is the grace to be saved. Faith, on the other hand, means believing or holding on to the truth. Thus, truth and mercy are the roots and are closely connected; the more we understand and hold on to it, the more grace we receive. We also receive grace in the various areas of our lives, the areas in which we struggle to overcome, but this does not come at once; we need to build our faith/understanding in those areas to receive it.
Another misunderstanding people have about grace is that once we receive it, we will never lose it; thus, they have the wrong concept of ‘once saved, always saved’.
Understanding grace is closely connected to our faith; that means we are under grace when we have faith, and the moment we lose faith, we are no longer in grace. Those who backslide are those who lose faith and thus grace.
If we are under grace, let us not take it for granted but understand we need to grow in grace (have it in all other areas of our lives in which we struggle), for we may not know one day; one of the areas in which we are weak may cause us to lose faith and thus cause us to no longer be under grace.

Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, are a Merciful God. You did not consume the Angels when one-third fell but gave them time, even though You knew they would not repent and when man fell, You made available a sacrifice and gave us Your Spirit as a Helper; above all, You covered us with grace. It is Your grace that saves us when we have faith in You. Lord, we pray we increase in faith/understanding so that we increase in grace and become spiritually strong…
