Acts 22:15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

As a Christian, everyone is called to two tasks: to be a messenger and to be a witness.

A messenger is a carrier of a message, the same as a witness, but in the case of a witness, the message is personal, something that the carrier has experienced. A witness has greater impact than a messenger. One would listen to a witness anytime, more than they would to a messenger. A witness speaks of things which he or she has not only heard but also seen/experienced.

Ask anyone if they would like to be an Angel, and every soul would be most glad to be one. The term Angel means messenger. What people do not realise is that we as humans are called to be witnesses, not just messengers. After Judgment Day, we who have been both witnesses and messengers will transform into Angels.

We as humans need to understand that we are truly blessed to be witnesses to the Lord Jesus Christ. So let us be grateful for making us, and let us not lose this opportunity given unto us. Let us share all that the Lord has done in our lives.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You are our Creator, and all things You made with purpose. You created the Heavens and all that exists in them. When darkness came, You also made man and this creation after You made the Heavens. You made man to be the Light that overcomes the darkness; instead of using the Angels, You preferred to use man. Lord, we thank You for making us to be blessed in You, to be witnesses of Your Glory…

We make this prayer in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
