Hosea 4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof [is] good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.
Worshipping on top of mountains or burning incense on hills does not imply the actual locations, but something that we say as ‘over the top’ or extravagant.
Anyone in ministry will see movement of God or the glory of God is less felt in Mega Churches and more in small Churches. In mega churches, they will have all the facilities, equipment, trained singers and good musical instrument players, yet when they worship, it is like God is asleep. The worship is good to hear, but it does not move the heart. They are more concern of their relationship with each other, and less about their relationship with the Lord.
In today’s message, the Lord is telling us our worship is not right with God; therefore, our behaviour is not right with each other. This is evident with the youth in most mega Churches. It brings tears to one’s eyes to see the spiritual state that they are in. They have redefined God and His Word just to hide their spiritual and natural fornication with each other. They do not even blink while spiritually destroying each other, which is nothing less than murder.
It is time we stick to the bare minimum when it comes to natural things and concentrate more on spiritual things. Understand that either we seek people to have a good experience, or we seek them to experience God. The Tabernacle made in a tent by Moses experienced the presence of God more than that made of gold and precious stones by Solomon.

Lord, You are Almighty God. You God created all things including gold and precious stones and they are the same as mud. For You, Lord, the mud You used to create man is more important than that which was made into gold or precious stones. Lord we pray we seek life into our relationship with You more than worldly glory…
