2 Corinthians 13:3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.

Paul, as I mentioned earlier, was very knowledgeable but lacked oratorical skills. He was compared with others, especially those whom he mentored. The Church in Corinth accentuated this. Even the Jewish religious leaders saw this and exploited it to frame Paul. To fight a legal battle, they did not bring in a knowledgeable person but an orator. Paul prayed to the Lord many times (written thrice), for help to overcome it, and all that the Lord said was that His grace was sufficient for him.

Today, also in Churches a speaker is selected not by his or her understanding of scriptures but by his or her orator skills, stage presence, Gifting to heal, prophesy (mainly financial or medical issues), etc…

A person sharing the truth may not see the glory of God manifesting instantly, like when an Evangelist does, but will surely see His glory over a period of time, when people see their lives changing.

Always do not seek instant healings, financial blessings or miracles, many are not immediately visible but are mightier in the eyes of God.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You are Father, for You created us, You protect us, and You provide for us. You are Spirit and are more concerned with our spirit than our natural bodies. You look at our inner beauty and not our exterior beauty. Lord, we pray we seek less of natural needs but more of those which are spiritual…

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
