There is an Indian Evangelist whom I saw grow from the start. A ministry which I was a part of gave him his first break in Mumbai, and the Lord did just awesome things through him. He is great in his Gifting but his understanding of Scripture is average; yet many young leaders, seeing the manifestation of his Gifts refer to him as their ‘spiritual father’. He foolishly moved out of India, not realising the Lord called him for a purpose here. Yesterday I was saddened to see him posting a photo of him referring to an African Preacher (Prosperity Gospel) as his father! The Lord has taken second place in his life.
People do not realise that everyone who keeps saying God is not His. We need to discern everyone and everything they say. There are times like Peter, who will deny for a period and then return in greater power and anointing. I pray someday my brother will also return to the Lord and stop running after fame, riches and people.

Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, created us to be light in the darkness so as to overcome it and not make a deal with darkness. Lord, we pray we do not seek the things of vanity but seek things of Your Kingdom…
