2 John 1:2 For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth {abides} in us, and shall be with us for ever.
History has been witness to many trying to bury or change the truth, but always the truth has been revealed or sustained over time, even if it is years or decades.
Bible says we are saved by faith, and I have mentioned before that faith means believing in the truth. Thus, without truth we can not be saved. John 1 says that Christ was the manifestation of truth and truth came by Him.
In the Bible, truth is symbolised by the pomegranate fruit. If one studies it, as we do with the mustard seed, one will understand why the Lord demanded it be embroidered on the curtains of the Tabernacle.
The mustard seed was chosen not because of its size, but because it has no gap or pocket of air between its halves. Air symbolises doubt (it is polluted); thus Satan is called the prince of air. Faith is not relevant by size but by purity. So if we have that which is without doubt, then we have the power to move mountains (do the impossible).
If we open a pomegranate, we will see that each seed/aril is shaped differently and has its own unique place. We cannot even turn it or move it to another place without causing air pockets (doubts). Like all scriptures, they uniquely connect together.
The reason people live in falsehood even after studying the Bible is that they lack the basic principles of Bible study. When I came into the Lord, the Lord prevented me from joining a Bible college and taught me based on Isaiah 28:9-11.
We read that the Israelites/Jews who had/have great knowledge and wisdom (worldly) and also knew/know all the Biblical languages, unlike us today, yet they could not/do not recognise Jesus as the Messiah, as Yahweh. It was not just the OT but even in the NT Paul rebuked the Hebrew-speaking people in a letter written in Greek (Hebrews) that they were infants living on milk and could not consume solid food.
In Isaiah 28:13, we see the Lord said the downfall of the Israelites was because of their stiff-neckedness; therefore, the Lord did not reveal to them the fourth stage of Bible study (Bible symbolism, Bible Codes, Bible Numerics), and that became the reason for them not knowing Jesus was the promised Messiah and the Lord who came as man.
Without total surrender, one will never understand the Bible. The Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) reveals the Scriptures only to those who self-abnegate. This is the case with all those who preach End Days/Judgment Day is at hand.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, are Awesome God. There is nothing You cannot do, yet You hold back many things from people, for You do not keep precious things in unworthy vessels. Lord, we pray we self-negate, knowing we who are like worms have been chosen for the most unbelievable position and purpose…
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
