Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

Spiritual blindness is evident from the fact that the Church has not yet understood the 7 letters. There are hardly a handful of people who have realised the letters tell us of the timeline of the Church, right from the days of the Apostles unto Judgment Day, from Ephesians to Laodicea.

I was fortunate that the Lord revealed the letters to me in great detail just before the pandemic, and I spoke of it before it was announced by the WHO. Believe me, I was not at all shaken when it hit; understanding of the letters also prepared me for the disasters that we are experiencing and those many which are yet to come.

The greatest clue to the 7 letters being the timeline of the Church is their names. If one has little knowledge of Church history, they would see it.

Ephesians – Authorised – the era starting with the Apostles and Callings taken over by Nicolaitan (Priestly hierarchy, a fusion of Jewish and Roman/Greek system) (30AD to 300AD)
Smyrna – Myrrh – bitter-tasting, aromatic gum which numbs the body if taken in mild doses and can kill if taken in larger doses over a period. The birth of the Catholic Church (300AD – 400AD)
Pergamos – Elevated – Known as the ‘Dark Ages’ (400AD – 1500AD)
Thyatira – Odour of affliction – Reformation movement and persecution of Christians at hand of the Catholic Church (1500AD – 1700AD)
Sardis – Red ones – Evangelical movement (1700AD – 2017AD)
Philadelphia – Brotherly Love – the coming together of the Church (2017AD – <>2200-2300AD)
Laodicea – Justice/Judgment of the People – Period just before Judgment Day (<>2200/2300 AD – 2400-2500AD)

Also the Lord did not as John of Patmos to make individual letters and send to their respective Churches but put them in one book and send them (collectively) to the Churches.

Today’s scripture talks of the period between 300AD – 400AD when the Church of Christ was sent into exile, and the Catholic Church was founded. It was during this period that the Koine Greek (common man’s Greek) Bibles were destroyed, and the Latin (Greek used by high society) translations by the Catholic Church were the only ones allowed, thereby controlling the interpretation of scripture. It was in this period that the fusion of pagan Roman and Greek doctrines, traditions, etc., was fused into Christianity, many of which still continue in Believer Churches.

People are brainwashed to believe the word Catholic (katholikos) means ‘universal’; they do not know it is a compound word meaning ‘part of the whole’. The roots of denominations date back to the time of the Apostles, and we see Paul complaining about it. In 150 AD, we have records of whole Churches known by their denominations. The Church of Rome was the largest denomination, thus referred to as ‘Catholic’ / katholikos by Ignatius of Antioch.

Smyrna is called the temple of Satan and later became the throne of Satan during Pergamos.

Let us be vigilant of the doctrines which have roots in this era and which we continue to refer to as ‘Christian’. Let us cut off these roots of Satan which, like thistles, destroy our spiritual growth.

Tomorrow, the Catholic Church celebrates the feast of Bonaventure, a bishop and theologian of the Catholic Church who in the 1480s set the new pathway of what we see today as Catholic doctrines. Some of his doctrines are Theocentric Metaphysics, Trinitarian Theology, Christ as Mediator, Franciscan Defense etc.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, are Light and there is no darkness in You. You are True and Your Word is True. Satan, to destroy us, misleads us from knowing and following the Truth. Lord, we pray we abide in Your Word and discern that which man has induced as Christian doctrines…

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Revelation 2:6, 9

9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.
